DISCOVERING THE TRUTH
As we watch Kara comb through her home abandoned and covered in dust, you can’t help but feel the utmost sympathy for this poor lost girl. Mahmud Asrar’s art was yet again beautifully done, with each panel you could feel the emotion surging off the pages. This was a huge moment in the Supergirl story arc, and was handled very well. The writing by Michael Green and Michael Johnson took you with Kara in this heartbreaking discovery. While most Supergirl fans knew her family had perished on Krypton, while reading you find yourself secretly hoping this time it’s different. Not because the story would be better that way, but because you have unknowingly started to really care for young Kara. I feel this was the issue that Michael Green and Michael Johnson made you want to continue following Supergirl’s story. You feel invested now; you’ve gone with her through this journey of discovery and heartbreak.
ANOTHER GREAT VILLAIN!
Along with the heart wrenching emotion, this issue provides you with an introduction to a new adversary , named Reign. I really loved the way this new character was introduced. The dialogue between her and Supergirl was greatly informative and exciting. I found myself captivated by what this Reign had to say, was she friend of foe? The fighting scenes that take place while we are given information by Reign, makes the read that much more intense, the action and information complement each other in a perfect way.
BOTTOM LINE: GREAT ISSUE!
This was a great issue; I loved every minute while reading it. I love to see Kara’s human side, her emotions, and her heart. Your shown she’s vulnerable and this makes her relatable. Even with super human powers she can be hurt. With the introduction to this new character called Reign, we learn important information that has exciting potential for future issues. This story arc has definitely been set up very nicely to captivate the reader, not only by Kara but by the villains she is facing. You want to know more about it all. I highly recommend this issue as a must read, and give it 5 out of 5 Stars.

Blows the crap outa anything being done with Superman which is snooze city…
I sadly agree with Darklighter, they need to step up there game with Superman. Action Comics is ok, but so far Supergirl is on top.
I think Superboy is gearing up to be something really cool, they just need to get there.
