Superman and Batman Vs. Vampires and Werewolves is in continuity with Batman Confidential … so says Kevin Vanhook who writes both.

All Star Batman and Robin is returning in January. Only difference is that they’re changing the name to … something I don’t remember right now. Same story just given a new title to attract people that have been tainted by the All Star title.

The best part about Superman/Batman is that with each new story, you have a new opportunity to get a really great original tale that doesn’t exactly have to follow any rules of continuity. The hope of a good tale is a great reason to buy the title. It’s 50/50 but when they’re good they’re great to me.
