If you want to see the San Diego Comic Convention before it became the crazy mad house it is today, check out the images by Alan Light, posted at his Flickr account.  There are some very fun photos including King Kirby and Will Eisner eating dinner together, and this awesome cycle that would make the guys at Orange County Chopper hang their head in shame.
