Matthew was born very young.  This made a lot of people angry, and has been widely regarded as a bad move. Amongst the native people of the Plains, he is known as “He Who Walks The Night Wind,” and was reputed to have killed a man in Reno just for snorin’ too loud. As “The Mighty King Cobra,” he was three-time WIBWF World Heavyweight Champion of the world, and later escaped from Fleurgendorff Prison with the help of rock singer Nick Rivers.

Matthew enjoys comic books, them thar Intarwebs, professional wrestling, mid-70’s muscle cars, and speaking in the third person.  After a several year search, he did finally find a copy of Detective Comics #487 (turns out Deon just bought one of a Saturday…)  He lives at home with his wife Stacy, and daughter Molly Elisabeth, who knows that “daddy’s books” are off-limits, and wants to know why Starbreaker was biting Doctor Light. He both works at and purchases his comics from Gatekeeper Hobbies, the finest comic store within human cannonball distance.  Matthew secured this job by listing “Knows The Legion Of Super-Heroes members in joining order, including real names and planet of origin” on his resume. 

Matthew has enjoyed a career path that includes work in radio, television, tele-communications, government consulting, retailing, marketing, acting as a knife throwers’ target, bartending, and an ill-fated weekend as a male stripper.  Now that’s he’s in his thirties, he’s sewn tweed patches to the elbows of his leather jacket, gotten a sensible haircut and prepared for adulthood to strike, and show him what he wants to be when he grows up. 

Matthew has no idea what happened to the woman, and no idea who threw her husband off the train near Cairo.
