Hello Everyone,

I am SO glad this site is on the come back trail. I look forward to getting involved in these postings. Keep up the great work. On a personal note, I am a 32 black man (like some of your best friends Smiley living in Buffalo, NY. I am a life long Spider-Man fan, during the great times and the low times. I guess time will tell which time is this. I'm a Marvel man at heart, but I'm especially loving all Captain America, Iron Fist, Avengers, and Nova stuff from and anything Geoff Johns does at DC.... Hey guys! I found Major Spoilers last year and it quickly became a regular part of my daily websurfing. I was really disappointed when I heard you'd decided to shut the site down, but the word that you were coming back bigger and better than ever was definitely welcome news. I can't wait to see how it all turns out.

Hi! Eric of Cardboard Monocle here!

I used to read Major Spoilers more than any other site. Like many of you, the loss of Major Spoilers was nearly too much for me to bear. Just when I began to come to terms with the loss of Major Spoilers, I received an email... A beacon of hope. I finally made my way to the forums, and I see many familiar folks!

Books I read?

I grew up reading mostly Marvel, and got into DC later on. But lately I've had to cut back...

Avengers (Mighty & New)
Iron Fist
Walking Dead
Runaways (Catching up on trades)
and some indy trades now and then for diversity!

Hello,
Ever since Major Spoilers vanished my productivity at work has increased by 200%, I'm looking forward to the return of the site so I can start once more producing a level of work that matches my paycheck.

Right now I'm in limbo, it seems none of the characters I like are involved in particularly good storylines.
Regardless here are the characters and teams I like:

Runaways
Green Lantern Corps
X-Men
Exiles
Spiderman
JLA

and my favorite artists are Joe Madureira, Chris Bachalo and Boris Pacheco.

Nice to see the site returning. What form it will take is something I'm eagerly waiting to see.

Stephen Schleicher, did you plan the whole majorspoilers closing down and the grand revamp, or did u think majorspoilers was done for good once it was shut down

MOSDEF: No. When i shut the site down at the end of October it was going to be gone for good - there was no plan to bring Major Spoilers back. Then some things happened over the last four months that have allowed it to come back. The revamp won't be that big of a change (some of it you have already seen), but the fact the site is back is probably the biggest news.

If I had done this as a stunt, that would have been a really dick move, and I tend to avoid being a dick whenever possible.

If I lose a lot of the original readers, that's okay. If I get everyone back plus more, then even better. What matters is there is a site that appeals to you the readers.

Thursday is just around the corner...

I'm Gaumer

I've been reading comics for almost 20 years but I'm mostly a Marvel Zombie

I started out with a Wolverine my dad got me when I was about 8 years old and never looked back. Well, I once looked back. I sold about 6 long boxes when I turned 18 for about ten grand to a collector who was starting up a shop. I'm sure I lost money on the deal and I know I lost a lot of stuff a much older and wiser me would love to still have. But, spilled milk and all...

I've been back for a few years now. Never really got away from the comic shop with my stints in Magic: TG and Heroclix, but the married and two sons part of me (which is the biggest part of me) drew me back to the comic books hoping to one day share the experience and hobby with my sons.

I love video games and I read science fiction and fantasy novels too.

I used to write a whole lot and have recently been dabbling into writing some comic book scripts just for shits and giggles.

It be a dream to write comics for a living but a dream it is.

I found MS through Scott Johnson's little blog and I'm glad I did.

I figured it was time I stopped lurking and really joined the community.

So, I'm glad I'm here; I'm glad you guys are back; and i think the Red Hulk is a Skrull

Hey all, I'm MaGnUs, some might (and then again, probably no one) know me as the writer of the comics column The Dissector, and I'm too lazy at 5.39 in the AM, and only 6 minutes away from leaving work, to introduce myself... so just help yourself to my bio, straight from my blog:

Bighonkin here. Love the site, and I hope to have some fun on the forums. I enjoy the comic books and I enjoy the talking about them. I also enjoy placing the article "the" before nouns that it normally wouldn't be used in front of. Thank you...THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH.
