I used to really like the Xmen books.  I collected them from the late 80s, till probably 2005.

They went up and down, but it seems that every writer on the book had to introduce new mutants, and before you knew it, there are hundreds of mutants.

Some of the artwork the last few years have sucked.  I can't tell you who, or what books, because they weren't worth remembering.  I'll look into that.

I want a stable X-men cast.  I guess since Emma Frost, joined I thought it went downhill.

I tried X-factor, but its relaunch didn't grab me.

Astonishing, on again off again releases... that is one I actually get, when I see it offered.

Has X-men gotten any better?  I want storylines that are a bit more plausible (given that it is a comic yes), better/stable roster.

X-Men board now active.  I hope you aren't the only one who cares...
