I'm a girl and my very first trades were "Marvels" and "Top 10" if that helps.  Grin

Marvels is EXTREMELY pretty and a decent introduction to the Marvel heroes and Top 10 is just plain awesome (funny, well written, good art).

girls don't read comics and enjoy it. that's a myth Grin  i kid, i kid.

i agree that those a great books, but to somebody who don't like to read all that much in the first place, that may be a bit much,

my wife picked up Marvels for me at our local library and she read through it before i got to it

and here i thought my wife was just being nice to me

glad to hear there are other females who love comics
