Well 9 times out of ten a minotaur is just gonna charge. A 1 foot tall pixie that has a set of plate mail sitting in the corner and is about to fight with just a sword and shield. He's one crazy ass pixie. I'm more scared of the pixie to be honest just because i don't know what he's going to do.

4E doesn't really cover it, but one would assume that a Heroic character can put on light armor in about 6 seconds, and heavy armor twice that. So, I would say a Standard Action to begin donning the armor, then one full round to be completely armored. Does that seem fair?  |

Your game your rules.
I've never seen anyone do what I'm attempting to do right now so how ever you want to call it is fine. I already had an idea of how my character was going to roll the fight but like you said since there is no real "standard" ruling for 4e better to ask than assume.

I believe there is a rule for armour. I think its minutes not rounds. But my memory is fuzzy.

Yeah, I think that'll work.
In 3.5, I think plate armor takes a minute and a half to don, equal to 15 combat rounds...

3.5 is 4 minuets or 2 if someone that isn't do anything else helps me.
So looks like I'll be fighting with a sword and shield this combat.

Seeing as I'm carrying wing's armor, and hes tiny, wouldn't it make sense for him to use my defenses if he got redressed on the back of my belt or something? (He hopefully suggested to the DM)
Oh and yeah, I'm gonna be charging like a discover card.

Unfortunately, it'd just take too long. I really underestimated donning armor.
Now, since Wing is still blessed by Corellon, I'm willing to give him +2 to AC for the fight, bringing him to 15 AC; would that work, Rev?

No leave it at 13. I was prepared for this to come up when I dropped the armor as a player. I just hoped it wouldn't come up and since it did as a player I should have to deal with my actions having consequences good or bad. The way you originally phrased that I couldn't get to my armor for now it just sounded like I may have an opportunity to get my armor in combat and I was curious what the protocol was for Donning Armor in 4e. I shall fight with 13 AC and then never ever take my armor off again.  |
