Glad you're a fellow fan the show s_o_a_c!
I'm on my 12th listen-through of the entire series, currently at episdoe 54 "Across the Lunar Landscape" again; I just can't help it, it's that friggin' good! Rodrigo's storytelling and mastery of the mechanics (even with the handful of mistakes), Rob's sarcastic number crunching and snarking, DnD Brian's hilariously pathetic dice rolling and pitiful character interactions, Miss Adriana's adorably frantic and morbid antics, and Matthew's magnanimous presence of comedy are all why I keep going back.
Really, the only one not phenomenal is Stephen (no hard feelings Mr. Schleicher) who repeatedly asks painfully redundant questions. I get that they have month long breaks between sessions, but he wouldn't forgive any of his students for doing the same thing, would he? (I am assuming of course, and have no idea if he would be forgiving) However, Orem is a hilarious character to witness interacting with the others, so Stephen gets points for creativity.
This show is 6-Stars worthy, but iTunes doesn't give me that option. I hope Critical Hit continues on well into the Epic Tier, and I hope to see a surge of new podcast content from Major Spoilers in the coming years (Rodrigo's Exalted Live-Play and a World of Darkness game run by Rob, for example).
I have to agree with Matthew on the questions from Stephen part, I do appreciate when he asks some questions that might soud redundant, but i am not very learned in DnD so it gives people like me some chance to learn. I do not want to sound like someone who will see her own point of view, but i do feel that his questions have a use, otherwise he would not ask them.
As for the 6 star rating, you have my approval on this!
Also, everyone, you can remove the _'s from my name when you refer to me, i just use these in account creation
