This series is really (really) good!

When I saw the series title (and produced by MTV, no less), I almost passed it by. Images of Michael J. Fox with fur and a headband dunking basketballs came to mind.

But the show is sharp in every way. It is played along the lines of Supernatural, as a serious show with some more subtle humor and a dark plot driving it.

The characters are intriguing, the relationships are multiple, and the story is compelling. It is most definitely worth the watch.

Here's the link to the seasons available (currently, two):

I actually passed it up because I preferred the Michael J. Fox movie (but not so much the sequel).  It isn't one of the best movies, but it is definitely one of those movies that immediately comes to mind when someone asks what I think of when I think the '80's.

However, if you're hooked, I might have to give it a look see.  If nothing else, at least I'll get to see a bit more of that cute redhead you posted in the cute celebrity thread.

Oh, Holland Roden is so cute! So is the lead actress, Crystal Reed:

I know I was talking about Arrow being a good show. But Teen Wolf is better.

It has something of a Buffy feel to it, so I'm sure you'll like it. Like most good shows, it gets better as it goes. Definitely worth the watch, imo.

Watch a few episodes then tell me what you think.

And just to make sure I convince you, I again give you Holland Roden.

So you're saying this screen capture from the scene I just watched two minutes ago is "unfair"?   Wink

I just finished Season 2. Lots of twists and turns but very good throughout.

Looking forward to Season 3 when it premieres.

If anyone else has watched this, gimme your thoughts.

You're an evil man.   Tongue

My goddaughter and one of her friends asked me to hold off on watching it until we could watch it together (which helps me in case there are no captions or if they end up not working), so I'll be giving the show a good proper viewing tomorrow.

I just checked the links I gave you at the top and, although it gives me a close caption button, it does not seem to work. I'm sorry.  Undecided

But I'm glad you'll get a chance to see it. Watching it with friends and loved ones is even better.

No worries.  If it comes down to it, I can always check On Demand and see if it gets put back up (it isn't currently there on mine) or see if the video store has the DVDs of the first season.

I think you'll find it worth the effort to find and watch.

The second season has a cool intro to it too. It reminds me a lot of the intro to the American remake of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo".
