Don't get me wrong. This isn't a masterpiece.
I could find a lot of directing issues and writing problems if I tried. But I don't try.
This is a CW show and it delivers what I expect from network television. I consider it worth checking out, for sure.

Yeah. This ep was a lot more 90's, with the voiceover and more superhero TV feel.

Also thought it was funny that the Shakespearean angle (Hamlet) was mentioned by the IT person, btw.

Well, at least, I know what my P90x workout should like...apparently I need to get multiple pull-up bars to jump up on.

I am wondering if Navarre said Wolverine was in it...would that help or not?

So I have been watching the Arrow from day 1 and I love the series so far. But I have a question or 2 about the show. In the last episode there is a black arrow guy, was he in the books? I do not know green arrow history, so I am not sure, and is the story line they are on a completely new origin story of the arrow, or was this like the book in anyway?
The guy is Merlyn. He's one of Green Arrow's main foes.
Note the character is the father of Oliver's best friend, Tommy Merlyn.

On Demand recently cycled back to the first few episodes and I managed to catch the first episode last night before it was cycled back out. As of now I've seen the first few episodes and I'm still not sure what I think of it.
Part of me is resistant to the series because of the decree that they wouldn't include any superpowers in the series and that bothers me a bit. I prefer when series at least leave the option open for a sliver of a chance that some other characters from the universe could pop up. I'm not saying they should have cameos like Smallville did in the later years, but I like imagining that the other heroes COULD be out there.
But for what it is, it isn't a terrible show so far. I don't know if I really like it yet, but it is at least interesting enough that I'm willing to watch a few more episodes to see if I do.
