So hows is everyones holidays shaping up to be like?

Anyone doing something special? I plan on three weeks of nothing but hanging out with my kids and this game  Grin

I'm DMing my irl D&D game this weekend, then spending Christmas with indelikatt. Otherwise, nothing out of the ordinary. I should be around, off and on at least, to play Eclipsed.

Driving up to see the girlfriend on Friday, big Christmas/We survived the Apocalypse (again) party on Saturday with a bunch of friends, Christmas eve and morning with my family, then Les Miserables, and Christmas night with her family.

Other than that, I plan on just being relaxed for this last week and a half of my unemployment.

Oh, Les Mis. I so very wish my mother was still alive so I could take her to see that.

Just curious, is your unemployment ending because you have found a job or because your benefits are ending? One is awesome; the other is freaking terrible.

I found a job that starts January 2.

The government never saw fit to give me any unemployment benefits because I was "released for cause" instead of downsized or something. The cause was that I was sick, they decided it wasn't severe enough to be covered by Family/Medical Leave, so they said all my days off (in and out of the hospital) were Unauthorized Leave and fired me. *cue Muttley grumble and mutter*
