Well, Short Circuit got more buzz but War Games was a favorite of mine as a teen. I even own it.

Oh, I love WarGames, but Short Circuit is one of my favorite movies out there. I loved it as a kid, and my younger brother watches it all the time (although he's been in a Short Circuit 2 rut lately).

Ally Sheedy's first claim to fame was that she wrote a book at the age of 12 that was published and featured on the adult reader's list.
