After checking out the Spindrift thread, I am almost afraid to read this thread. People on these forums do have some evil good recommendations...I don't need to read more comics! Tongue

I'm just glad this stuff is usually free if I had to pay all those talented creators what they are worth I'd be taking out a second mortgage.  Definitely earmarking some of my Christmas money for t-shirts/print editions.

Definitely appreciate the free quality content. Comic book prices do quickly add up. In school, I do remember thinking: couple of comics and eating Ramen vs alternatives. Even now, it adds up quick.

If you like order of the stick, try Erfworld. It was hosted by OoTS for a long time, but it's its own thing now. Basically, normal dude gets magically teleported into a turn-based top down wargame, as a warlord in the world. And learns the rules while leading battles.

After a crazy last couple of months traveling, I am back and thought I might add a strip to the list.

If you have ever played, Freedom Force, the mods were almost better than the game itself. The master of modding was a guy called Dr Mike. His mods and the stories with them felt like a comic from the 70s and just interesting as heck.

Anyway, he is now doing some strips on his site: http://www.fundamentzero.com/index.htm

He's a super nice guy and he always had time to help someone trying to figure some code out. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Plus, he's Australian Smiley

No Pink Ponies @ http://nopinkponies.com

That one is no surprise to anyone who heard my review.  Another must read that I will review in the future is Tripp, found at www.trippcomic.com

Both have the relationship thing going while being funny, but I don't want to call them "romantic comedies" because they aren't full of the awkward tropes that make me hate those kinds of movies.  If I'm starting a list of "must-reads," right now these two top the list.
