The Hawkeye Initiative cracks me up! ... It's also a really poignant commentary on how most comic book artists approach female characters. But you're no worse than any other artist so I wouldn't sweat it. heh

Sue is in proportion. I also think Carol's face looks much better. Very nice.

My only qualm would still be Carol's pose. We have a woman sitting all the way onto her right hip yet turning backward to face Doom while raising her left arm up to do some sort of, um, not sure. Can you help me understand what is going on there?

I used this as a reference, I try to stay away from poses that are unrealistic, and twisting and a very pornographic way. And with her on the floor in front of everyone, I think it is a sexy pose, but not so overly sexy that is in uncomfortable for the woman to do. I was listening to the podcast #478 at the time I was drawing this this morning, and the clients wants it sexy, but not unrealistic, so as an artist i am trying to meet the customer requirements, and my own sensibilities when thinking about how a woman should look.

I do, last night i thought it looked good as well tell i got up this morning, and I was like damn her legs are to long and I hated her butch haircut. lol So in all I do like the changes.

I forgot to mention I am going to head up to the emerald city comic con this spring, and I am brining up some of my art to show around and drum up some work, any suggestions on who I should be talking to at the con? or if some people from major spoilers are going to be there, it would be cool to meet up.

I don't know who to suggest but I recently went to Wizard Con in Columbus. I met Neal Adams, Greg Horn, and some other artists.

There were several unknown artists there who were trying to get noticed. Some were practically trying to drag me to talk to them and that was a bit annoying.

But the unknown artists had their work prominently displayed. I saw one piece of Magik I liked and spent a few minutes talking to the artist. I bought the piece from her.

But then I wanted to post a pic of what I bought here yet didn't want to do so without her permission. I had her name only so I tried to find her on facebook and asked her about posting the pic but she never replied so I was unable to spread her fame.

So I might advise to have a way to make sure anyone who stops by gets an e-mail or facebook listing or whatever you want to distribute. If you have a web site, that's great as those are inexpensive.

But show your art proudly, be friendly but non-aggressive, and have your contact info ready. Fame, and hopefully fortune, awaits!
