Finally started building my character, gotta say they improved the instructions in 4E.
Are their Druid specific feats in any of the other books, I should look into?
Any common mistakes I've probably made?

So how does buying weapons in this work? I need to roll random gold and buy from that pool? Are any weapons not buyable at character creation?

Strifeter told us we should roll our starting gold but that we could simply have mundane items to our character possessions without detracting from it. He asked that we be reasonable so I doubt he meant for us to buy a 1000 gp spyglass or major masterwork items. But otherwise he was generous in this regard.

It occurs to me that I should be posting my character Dev stuff in the character Dev thread of all things. I'm going to stick with my original idea and run a goblin sorc because min maxing is for suckers IMO. My stats that i rolled are as follows
17 - 6 6 5 2
14 - 6 5 1 1 Rerolled 1's - 3 2
10 - 4 4 2 1 Rerolled 1's - 1 2
18 - 6 6 6 2
12 - 5 4 3 1 Rerolled 1's - 3
15 - 6 5 4 3
Pretty solid stats to start with I'm really digging the 18.
So much for waiting till the weekend to draw this guy up. Oh i should be packing right now. Ya'll are in your first combat so safe to assume we're all 1st level?

2nd question possibly more important than the 1st if I go with a Toad Familiar for the bonus HP do i just add that to my 1st HP stat or does that go some place special. Are we rolling our first HD or is that Maxed for 1st level?

It is maxed for first level and the Toad gives you +3 on your first level only.

I know that. My question was more so where do I put the +3 so that it doesn't mess up the character sheet. Also I'm getting an error in a lot of places for putting in Small as my size.

One hopefully easy question. For Crossbows Rapid Reload only lists regular crossbows and not Repeating crossbows If i took a feat to be able to use a Repeating Crossbow could i later take Rapid reload to bump my reload down to a move action? it's not really a big deal if not. A heavy crossbow would work just fine.

Quite sure Rapid Reload does not work on repeating crossbows, as per the Feat description. I think it's the balance between reloading as a free action for 5 rounds then having to take a full-round to load a new clip.
