Today is Joss Whedon's birthday. I have to give a shout out to a guy who's provided more hours of television, comic book, and movie entertainment than anyone else I could name.

Thank you for bringing me some of my favorite things, Mr. Whedon:  Mr. Sweet the musical demon, puppet Angel, a vampire blackmailing nerds by threatening to break their Boba Fett figure and River Tam.  Happy Birthday, good sir!!

My old lady's b-day is tom., mine is the 6th. Us cancers our awesome Smiley


If I could get him anything, it would be 60 minutes of network airtime per week. He can fill it with whatever he wants.

That would be pretty great, even if he decided to fill it with random stuff every week.  I know I'd be right there watching "Joss Whedon Presents Polar Bears on Unicycles Across a Tightrope" if that was what he picked.  Actually, that sounds kinda cool already, he'd probably add some twist like the lead polar bear dies and comes back as a demon cyborg to fight River Tam.
