Vinnrog grunts again and rubs his brow.
"Me would like to stay with friends. But me see how you make fake Enghart look like fool and perspire people..."
Inoke touches Vinnrog's arm lightly.
"Inspire, Vinnrog-Ru. Inspire."
The barbarian shrugs and continues.
"...to think for selves and not follow first Dwarf with title."
"Me heard of other self, Vinnrog Redclub of this world, leading raids against Damrogann's orcs and goblins. Sound like he orc to be reasoned with."
"Me think Inoke and me go to Other-Vinnrog. Make peace. Then make peace with Other-Vinnrog enemies too."
"Could use help from those who not live in walls and trees, uh-huh?"

"Ye be the most 'onorable person I e'er be knowin', Vinnrog.
Take who'ver ye be needin' to take who be willin'.
Be safe but be quick. Use all that ye know to be makin' our allies stronger, includin' the truth o' those two usurpers an' our secret aim to take 'em down. But be mindful."
Bedlor looks to Inoke as well with these words
"We not be knowin' who those two be gettin' at 'fore we be showin' up. They can be makin' grand promises o' all sorts; all we 'ave is a promise - loose as it be - o' peace an' equal standin'. Sure'n it be a song they be 'earin' 'fore. Be knowin' where they stand 'fore ye give up any knowin's we should be keepin' 'old o'.
If'n ye succeed in winnin' their allegiance be sendin' the orcs to the West city an' be makin' yer way back 'ere quick. I not be wantin' any more o' us out in the world wit' so few for too long."
Bedlor looks deeply into Vin's eyes
"Ye be a grand friend, Vin. I be knowin' few 'bout the ways o' yer people, but I can be figurin' a orc leader not be seein' 'is twin comin' an' speakin' o' such as ye aim to speak to kind o' gift. The ways o' the tribe be those o' the warrior. By my seein', lessin' I be mistaken, ye come back to us a ruler..."
Bedlor leaves the sentence unfinished, as not to curse his friends mission with dark thoughts.
"Good luck to ye, Vinnrog; Protector o' the World."

Vinnrog clasps your hand in his meaty paw with a firm shake. Inoke looks at you with both understanding and affection as Vinnrog pulls you in for a brotherly embrace.
"No fear, Bedlor. Me know ways of people. Me speak language they understand."
"Never thought me ever me speaking for peace to mighty tribes, and wearing good hat no less. But we very proud of all we done and all we still can do. There is a good way to world and you and me walk it."
"Me never would have come so far or grow so much if not for good friend like you. Me come back soon. No heaven or hell or Hare stop us from having drink after war is done."
"You take care of self, Bedlor. First round of ale on you,"
he grins, the good-natured face you have come to trust full of conviction, loyalty, and friendship.
Coby watches the exchange and grins as well.
"Welp, there ya go. Orcs and Dwarves drinking together. If that ain't some peace I don't know what is."
"If I'm taking the castle somewhere, I think we can gather some support from D'Cairn Valley. The Half-Folke have sat on the fence with this whole thing for too long and we're all about to get splinters in our butts if we don't right this."
"Aldina and I'll take the castle down south and get some small-folke stirred up. They're a neutral lot but they have a fire in them if you know how to stoke it. And by gooly I got the poker, yep-yep."

"Aye, an' I wish ye luck wit' the small ones. But do not be forgettin' the burden ye carry."
Bedlor speaks to his joint protector via the weapon they share
<Man be the 'ardest o' the races to bring to peace. Sure'n it be arrogance o' some sort, but it be the same that be makin' 'em a value to any they befriend. Be doin' yer best to be makin' ends for peace wit' man as well, brother.
An' be keepin' in touch by the weapon. The sooner we know o' trouble the better.>
"Be safe."

Coby nods. His usually affable expression is one of grim determination and a newly-shouldered burden; the weight of which you know all too well.
Rachel replies to your last spoken words.
"Speakin' o' 'bein' safe', wot aboot t'e Lone Pine? Tren said 'e saw Dark Tomorrow in t'e city, disguised as t'e monks."
"Does t'at mean t'e Lone Pine been over'un by t'ose murderers? And wot of Jett and 'is crew? Sure'n t'ey were to be on t'eir way to Pax Templi to save bot' monks and Vaadjori from t'e tyrants wot serve Hayden Hyde."
"Wot be 'appenin' to t'em?"

The dwarf rubs his hairy chin
"Are ye volunteerin' to go after 'em? Sure'n ye could be o' great use in the search for the Trust; 'idin' in the shadows an' such; but it be yer choice, as it be wit' all o' us, an' sure'n it be weighin' on ye."

Rachel chews on her lower lip as she considers her options. Her mannerisms are so familiar in this girl you only met days ago.
"Och, I dinna know. Sure'n t'e Vaadjori could be o' great 'elp in t'e fight to come. T'ey be long oppressed by all sides and would stand wit' us, I 'ave no doubt."
"But we not be knowin' wot sort o' carnage may 'ave 'appened at Pax Templi. And I not be trustin' a one o' Jett's people as far as I be throwin' Vinnrog."
"I 'ave to say too, I not be wishin' to leave T'Ning. Sure'n 'e be right quiet o' late but I not be runnin' to t'e far side o' Gallia when I be knowin' West Wellington better t'an t'e lot o' ye toget'er and t'ere be t'ose rings to find."

Tren looks around and talks lowely with his allies.
"I'll go the temple. It's either that or I go meet with the elven king. Perhaps I could do both. I still have that magnifying glass i could see if I could use it to get to the temple. No offense to anyone but I am most certainly best suited for an information gathering mission. Dark tomorrow has a plan and they know I was the one who stopped it.
I also learned that Maldomkin is not the one who burrowed through the Grey Realm and that he is scared of whatever did. They think I am working with this demon. That angle will definitely be useful later. I have now but the fear of the Demon of the Ark Guild in their ranks."

"Aye, but this ain't bein' no mission to be gatherin' knowledge it be a mission to be checkin' on the Defenders an' givin' 'em a message. Nothin' more.
Sure'n a magic spell can be doin' such, an' we be needin' yer skills in town. Sure'n by yer own words ye be uncoverin' more in a few moments than most can be doin' wit' days o' speakin'.
Tellin' true, I'd rather be sendin' the winged 'orse than ye, Tren. 'Orses be 'avin' a 'ard time 'idin' in the woods an' gettin' o'er on bad priests, hohoho."

Tren nods.
"If it is only a message then fine. Hopefully the Nexus isn't in other hands."

"An' what would we do if'n 'e was? Sure'n the guard a nexus'll be givin' be more than we be 'avin' to aide. That be if'n we could find 'im to begin wit'.
Anyways, to be thinkin' such be to think bad o' the Lone Pine monks. An' if that bein' the case we can be sure'n that those monks 'ave been all but wiped out. Thinkin' like that be doin' none any bit o' good. But knowin' fer sure'n be makin' us gains to be takin' actions later, aye, but we can'ta afford to be sendin' folks off for the sake o' thinkin's when they can be so 'elpful 'ere.
Sure'n if'n they DO be 'avin' the nexus it be makin' the Trust a grander prize indeed.
But I be needin' to 'ear thoughts on it. If'n we 'ave no magicical way o' doin' things an' ye be thinkin' Valiant unable to be gettin' the task done, or be needin' 'elp in it all be speakin' up. But be doin' so quick so we can be gettin' to other matters, such like findin' the Trust an' gettin' words to more who can be comin' to give aid."

Coby replies.
"Azure can fly almost as fast as the cloud. We could send her to check on Pax Templi. I'd recommend seein' if Nephros would send those Angels with her for protection."
"Maybe Aldina should stay here though? Between her and Moira, you'd have both arcane and divine magics to deal with the Trust. If we need magic somewhere right now, this looks to be the place."
"If Aphra would be willing to come with me then, I could use a bit of backup myself for when I head south."

Bedlor looks to the hound
"If'n ye be willin'."
Before regarding Coby
"Ye'll be takin' wit' ye one o' the fiercest fighters I e'er be seein' take up arms. Be earin' 'er advice, an' takin' it.
Aye, that be sound thoughts on Azure an' the others. Let's be makin' final doin's for gettin' these arrows in the air."
Bedlor looks around for his squirrel, Chestnut.
{Is she still on the cloud?}

{You had never said you were bringing her with you but, as your companion, I assume she's with you unless you ask her to do otherwise.}
Chestnut looks at you from near the top of the closest corn stalk.

"Come 'ere, mate."
Bedlor beckons the wood rat to jump on his shoulder as the dwarf walks to a discrete location he can command his ally. As he grabs a cob of corn and begins haphazardly shucking it and feeding kernels to himself and his squirrel he speaks in silent whispers to his faithful companion by way of his Speak to Animals ability.
"I be savin' the 'ardest; sure'n the most dangerous; o' tasks to ye, my friend. I be needin' ye to keep eyes on our enemies in town an' report on their doin's. Sure'n I can'ta be speakin' to ye as I do now more than a few times a day at the most, but the World Spirit binds us closer than most. Use all o' yer ways o' 'idin' an' sneakin' to be gettin' to those two in town. If'n ye can be 'earin' their words, listen closely. If'n ye can only be sittin' on the roof o' that inn an' can be gettin' no closer, come back an' be tellin' me such sooner, not later. Ye may be able to wait an' learn, but ye may be needed in our 'unt for other findin's.
'Bove all, be stayin' safe. Ye be no good to me dead, an' I not be thinkin' my 'eart to be takin' a truth that puts ye in the 'ands o' those enemies. They sooner see ye as a 'at or a 'andwarmer than back by my side should they be findin' ye out.
I also ask for yer words on e'erything ye be seein'. Ye be no slave, an' others like yerself who 'ave stood by me 'ave seen bloody an' deadly ends. Share wit' me yer thoughts, my ally."
