Tren looks around the group and then at Enghart.
"I suppose the trachings of Sascha are starting to rub off on me. I do not seem to fear death. But then maybe I never have.
These elves search for their princess, Iridia. They have reason to believe she is within the castle walls.
Through my investigation I have believe the princess was taken at the hands of Lyric who currently works for, from what I have found Modelus, Dark Tomorrow, Illumian, and Damrogan currently."
Tren looks to the elven war cheif.
"I fear we are all being led into war and that all under false pretences. I have told them that you managed to convince the Pontiff and this worlds Enghart to a conference. I would like a representative of the elves there as well and this is why I stand here with twenty arrow heads pointed at my face."
Tren walks over to Bedlor and places a hand on his arm. He fells for the energy of the Dreamstone.

Your hand touches Bedlor's arm. As you do, you feel the spiritual energy about you; the presence of souls.
The Necropolis Dreamstone seems to hunger as it flickers. Long deprived of its sustenance, it nudges you to be fed.
You feel the soul of Bedlor next to you. It burns with power.
Yet, as you touch the Brands of Pandia emblazoned on his left forearm, the leopard and porpoise sear at your hand.
The Elven war chief looks over Bedlor and Moira with great scrutiny and suspicion.
"Here are the leaders of our enemies, known to have newly arrived in the western holding and now exiting the human city. All differences in appearance are easily explained but we are asked to stand down our attack based on, what? Your promise of a different truth and offer of aid?"
"You ask for more than any soul should expect from us. Have you any proof of anything you say? Any of it?"

Bedlor looks to Tren curiously
"My elvish be a bit rusty, mate. Be there trouble 'ere I can be 'elpin' wit' or not? Sure'n these elves could 'ave a seat for whoe'er they be decidin' to take it at the table we be settin' to fill."
Bed leans in closer to Tren
"Sure'n I be wantin' yer friends, the elves, to be sittin' at that table to keep trustin' eyes on the pontiff an' that beardless bastard. Sure'n, by me seein', we can be trustin' 'em more than those we be makin' efforts wit' only moments ago. They be needed, mate."

Tren removes his hand from Bedlor and stares at it for a second.
"Tren removes a ring and the double-sided clothes from his bag. There were men in the crowd when the Pontiff arrived dressed as monks from the lone pine temple."
Tren flips the double sided clothing inside out.
"I infiltrated and found that Maldomkin had a plan in place to disrupte todays entrances. I have two of my allies following them to where they hide. Once we find it I will have more solid evidence.
Until then I invite you to share a table with the Pontiff and Enghart. Not these two you see before you but this worlds. I understand it may seem bizarre but I assure you. We aim to avoid conflict on this day and save lives."

Bedlor smiles at the elves and turns his back a bit to whisper to Tren
"Oi, mate, I be fearin' for any that be sittin' at a table wit' that witch o' a pontiff. She be wantin' to get me 'lone in a strong way, to be reapin' me mind, I be fearin'.
My words in town do nothin' but buy us time an' an excuse to find allies. What we need to be doin' is meetin' wit' this elven band's leaders."

The war chief blinks at the two of you. Fortunately, Rachel translates everything and the Elf nods.
"I cannot make decisions for my people in the manner you suggest. But is it not the great Nephros, the Seraphim of Death, I see above?"
"She is the hand of Sashca in the mortal world. She may speak for us."

Tren nods and looks at Bedlor.
"They will have Nephros sit at the table to represent them."
Tren looks back at the elven wat cheif
"We would like to meet with your leaders as well. If not more so than with the Pontiff. Could such a thing be arranged?"

The war chief nods.
"Sashca is open to all Elves who raise no hand against her or her own. I will send a runner to Chieftain Eye-Of-The-Storm. But he will not wish to treat in the human city."

Tren bows.
"I fear I travel with more than just elves. Our band is quite diverse truly. Would such a thing be allowed."

The war chief ponders.
"The Forest of Ages is the sacred homeland of the Elves. I suspect a neutral ground would serve best for negotiations."
"The western woods is in dispute. There is a large field to its north."
"Perhaps yon castle above, should it be capable of setting down there?"

"Ye all be missin' the true point o' this sword: I not be thinkin' for a moment that that pontiff or that beardless dwarf be negotiatin' anything.
Tellin' true, I fear for any that be meetin' wit' 'em two.
If we be to gather for the comin' storm - for that what those two be: a force o' nature we cannot be reasonin' wit - let those that will stand wit' us 'gainst those two in the cloud castle. We fortify there an' gather a force this world not e'er be seein' to save the world from those that would attack from the shadows."

Aldina looks about.
"So, are we returning to the castle and somehow trying to get ambassadors of the various holdings to treat with us or are we doing something in the city? I thought we were looking for the Trust?"

"Aye, but where be it?
We 'ave nothin' but rumor an' story to be tellin' us where this thing be. We be thinkin' the pontiff an' 'er badger be comin' to the West city to be findin' the same trinket we be searchin' for.
Sure'n my sayin' we be leavin', AN' comin' back wit' 'em that be willin' to put the world 'fore others an' knowin' the truth, be puttin' those two back on their 'eels.
This leaves us in position that puts us o'er those two betrayers. Sure'n they be speedin' up any plans they 'ave to be gettin' the Trust, an' puts us in place to show 'em we not be knowin' or carin', while we be doin' both.
We send the cloud off, wit' the Defenders, who'll be gatherin' those who we would see gathered. Set all those that would follow us toward the West city.
Myself an' others stay an' search for the Trust, 'idin' from all an' usin' the 'aste o' out enemies 'gainst 'em to 'elp US find the Trust.
All I be doin' today wit' my words is buyin' us time an' movin' a shadow we can be usin' to 'ide in. I be doubtin' that no matter 'ow large an army we can be gatherin' it'll 'ave no measure 'gainst the pontiff's 'oldin's. We be givin' ourselves a bit o' leeway. Nothin' more. I not be changin' any course for us, just makin' that course a bit smoother, by my seein'."

Vinnrog grunts, adjusting his bowler as a bead of sweat runs down his brow.
"Who stay here? What we do to look for Trust? We sneaky watch bad guys and let them find it for us, then we bash heads, huh?"

"Aye, mate, a bit o' both'll be needed, by my seein'.
Word o' all this'll be reachin' ears an' reachin' 'em fast. 'Opes be that the Defenders 'lone'll be able to be swingin' leaders from 'round the world to our cause.
But sure'n we need to be speakin' to e'eryone to be knowin' who be seein' 'emselves doin' what."
