Well everyone, the tale of Dr. Gregory House played it's final episode Monday. It's sad really, to see such an amazing show end. 8 years and 8 seasons worth of medical and personal puzzles. It was a bitter sweet end to one of my all time favorite shows. A brilliant ending that was well deserved.

I believe they did the show, and the characters justice with how it all played out in the end.  Again, I'm sad to see it all end, but I'm glad it was such a success. So, what are some of you guys' favorite moments from the show? Or if you didn't like it why?

Now that it is over, perhaps I will watch an episode.  When I am finished watching Magnum P.I. that is.
Some cats Like Jimmy Rock in the trailer others are Thomas Sullivan Magnum III fans.

James Rockford and Thomas Magnum are both cool customers. I think they'd have made for a good crossover episode.

House MD was alright. I didn't watch much of it.

I liked the character's personality because he showed the protagonist doesn't have to be pleasant to be understandable and interesting. But it seemed like every episode he ran across conditions so bizarre I found them nearly impossible to believe.

He was kinda supposed to run across difficult conditions.  His job was sorta experimental, to actually solve the puzzle of someone's illness if it didn't fit normal parameters, something not every hospital has.  It was sorta like "If you have a problem noone else can solve, maybe you should call Doctor Greg House" and they actually had episodes where people sought him out because of that.  And usually, at least in the earlier seasons, they were semi-realistic or based on something real but very rare.  They had someone who was allergic to blood, which is something I have and most real doctors have never encountered another person with it.

That said, my favorite patient ever was the time House was on clinic duty and a stoner said he had "two broken legs and a broken arm", proceeded to poke said legs and arm saying "Ow" each time.  It was a broken finger.

I'm sure Navarre would have liked the "I'll be 18 soon" girl that stalked House for a bit.  She was cute.   Grin

Oh was she now? You totally need to PM an image to me, y'know.  Wink

Speaking of cute girls, Chyler Leigh was on the show for a while, right? How did that turn out?

Tsk tsk!  But the "I'll be 18 soon!" Was one of my favorite episodes.  Slightly creepy, but seriously got me laughing the entire time, and each time I watch it now.  http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1015262/  That is the actress that played the teenager 'Ali'.  It was season 3, episodes  3-4.  Yes, yes i'm a nerd..but no I don't remember specific episodes like that...I just googled House M.D. 17 year old stalker....seriously.

Love you google!

That is the actress that played the teenager 'Ali'.

Shoulda remembered her name was Ali.  All Ali girls are crazy, even the ones that it is only a nickname for.

Trust me on this.   Wink

It is a good story.  It is just creepy enough, but also just too funny.

Most of season seven is where the show lost it for me. I like the puzzles and watching is brain work but when you take the doc that I've been watching for years and slowly show him becoming "a real boy" only to destroy it and return him to the pill popping wise cracking smart ass he's always been was the point where i said ok this is it I'm out. Because of that i think i only watched a few episodes of season 8 but didn't sick it out till the end because i didn't like the direction it was going with every episode being the darkest episode you've ever seen but wait next week we take it a step further. I think they should have stopped with season seven so they could end it with him truly happy with the woman his danced around and sought after for years. That's just my opinion though. I would have also accepted the ending of season seven being the end of the series. It showed that moment where if finally snapped in real life and they didn't really bother to explain it away in season 8 anyway other then hey you've been in jail for a while and stuff has changed.
