House MD was alright. I didn't watch much of it.
I liked the character's personality because he showed the protagonist doesn't have to be pleasant to be understandable and interesting. But it seemed like every episode he ran across conditions so bizarre I found them nearly impossible to believe.
He was kinda supposed to run across difficult conditions. His job was sorta experimental, to actually solve the puzzle of someone's illness if it didn't fit normal parameters, something not every hospital has. It was sorta like "If you have a problem noone else can solve, maybe you should call Doctor Greg House" and they actually had episodes where people sought him out because of that. And usually, at least in the earlier seasons, they were semi-realistic or based on something real but very rare. They had someone who was allergic to blood, which is something I have and most real doctors have never encountered another person with it.
That said, my favorite patient ever was the time House was on clinic duty and a stoner said he had "two broken legs and a broken arm", proceeded to poke said legs and arm saying "Ow" each time. It was a broken finger.
I'm sure Navarre would have liked the "I'll be 18 soon" girl that stalked House for a bit. She was cute.
