The Anti-Seraphim wings in your direction, T'Ning, as you fly toward him.

A Raez-Zhir takes him across the outer edge of his throat. He grimaces but has no chance to speak before the skin of his neck is ripped open by another shuriken. Then another. And another. And Another!

He reaches, hands trembling, to his throat. Golden red blood pours between his fingers as both hands clutch his neck.

His hands slowly pull away...His head comes with them.

The rogue Angel's own severed head now stares, unseeing, toward the place where it should rest. As the head continues to slowly rotate of its own accord in the Seraphim's right hand, it rolls from his fingertips to fall out of the sky.

The body, limp and bloodied, follows.

{Dang!  Cool}

{Valiant's turn, Bedlor. If you want to direct him somewhere he will work with you.}

The Anti-Seraphim's face turns to bright pulp as he is struck over and again by the Legacy Weapon of Man. What may have been ill-suited for Coby Wayne, no matter how Prophesy seemed to have given him recent favor, the screaming war hammer is legend in the hands of Bedlor Enghart.

To his credit, the Angel of Light does not fall. But he weaves in place like a fisherman's bob, momentarily senseless.

As you join your stalwart ally from the back of your winged steed, Vinnrog greets you. Deep gashes in his chest pour blood like a pitcher but his face only shows determined rage and unified conviction.

"Bedlor," he nods, his bowler barely in place on his head in the rising winds.

"Sorry 'bout Jackson but good to see you. Me about to bash Angel in head again. Want to help?"

"Aye, mate. We lose many, an' I'll be damned if'n I let others fall to these angels o' death.

We need to be doin' our best to 'erd 'em closer to the castle an' let the archers that remain take their aims.

We make our stand 'ere an' let not a single winged beast live."

You could swear Valiant eyes you warily at your last comment.

Meanwhile, Moira breaks from Aerik to travel as far as she can on her own. The priestess withdraws something from her pack as she air walks toward her enemies. Those of you who have been to West Wellington recognize it as the Primordial holy symbol seen in the "Bullseye Barrage" archery contest that now seems a lifetime ago. About her wrist is the strand of prayer beads bequeathed to her from the West Wellington reliquary, fashioned by the ancient faithful followers of the Primordial.

She presents this boldly toward the closest of the Anti-Seraphim, hoping with all her heart that her faith in the greater power of the universe will be enough to overcome the resistances of her foes.

"In the name of the Primordial. In the name of Celestryn, Father of Earth and Sun. In the name of Aurora, Mother of Sea and Sky."

"In the name of all that is Good and Right and in the name of Peace, I Banish thee, dark ones of The Light!!"

{Caster level check with Spell Penetration and Greater Spell Penetration, plus doubled circumstance bonus on both Primordial holy symbol and strand of prayer beads plus Bead of Karma prayer bead vs A-S SR32: 1d20+15+2+2+2+2+4=33, 1d20+15+2+2+2+2+4=35, 1d20+15+2+2+2+2+4=44. All 3 Successes.}

{Anti-Seraphim Will save vs Banishment (augmented by prayer beads and holy symbol), DC30: 1d20+15=16, 1d20+15=17, 1d20+15=19. All Fail.}

Moira's brow beads with sweat as she tries to affect all three of the three Anti-Seraphim within range of her prayer. The presence of three great Angels exceeds even the devout priestess's power but her faith is strong.

As one shudders, trying to shake off the effect, the other two look to her and scream.

"Priestess of the Light! You undo us!"

"You know not what you do, woman! The planar barriers are sealed. There is no place to banish us."

"Your prayer will push us against those unyielding walls like a straw through timber in a hurricane! Stop!! You will destroy us!!"

Moira's face, radiating pure white light, somehow seems all the darker for it.

"That isn't my concern, Angel."

The pair of Anti-Seraphim scream as you see their bodies literally collapse in upon themselves. Much like watching water spiraling down a drain, you see them being sucked into nothingness at their navels.

Their agony dies on the wind, leaving not a feather nor whimper behind.

Moira moves N, N, N, N, N, N, N, N, N, N, N, N (60ft) to R47

Tren, your hobgoblin snipers pace angrily; trapped within the Anti-Seraphim's Blade Barrier spell. Now missing the flying Valiant, Thomas Knox looks every bit as vexed.

But Inoke takes advantage of her flight ring to speed forward to make an attack on the Angel fighting her lover and friends.

Inoke moves NW, NW, NW, NW, NW, NW, NW, NW, NW, NW, W, W, NW (90ft) to O32

{Rage Attack vs A-S, AC32: 1d20+16+5+3+2=31. Miss.}

Inoke Redclub looks very embarrassed as she glances at Vinnrog.

"Me sorry, Vinnrog-Ru. Me could have done as good with table leg. Me liked it better than scimitar anyway."

Vinnrog tries to smile. Blood soaks his teeth and the glint in his eyes promises more blood will be shed, likely from the Anti-Seraphim.

"You do good, Inoke. We tear Angel-man apart, uh-huh. Me make you new feather pillow."

Azure, sacred animal companion of the deceased Einshar, Fjod, lashes into the no-surrounded Anti-Seraphim.

The Anti-Seraphim cries out as his back is raked by the great blue eagle of his master's enemy. He glares at all of you.

"We haven't even begun to hurt you. Before this day is done, any hope you have of freeing the Primordial will be crushed beneath you."

The Angel of Death near Aphra stares down his wayward brother. The Angel is ebony and emerald throws himself into Illumian's Seraphim with all his strength.

{AoO, A-S vs AoD: 1d20+20=23. Miss.}

{Bull Rush attempt, AoD Strength check: 1d20+7=27. ooh, Nat 20! Nice!}
{Opposed Strength check by A-S, DC27: 1d20+7=9. Fail-Sauce!}

Feathers fly as the two Angels collide in mid-air. With bared teeth and straining biceps, Sashca's Angel of Death lives up to his name as he shoves his brother mercilessly into the spinning wall of blades conjured by his mistress. Forcibly pushed by the Seraphim, Illumian's warrior cannot save himself from impacting the wall of knives.

{Blade Barrier damage: 15d6=40}

Bits and chunks of Angel fly into the air in all directions. The space occupied by the Anti-Seraphim is consumed by bloody pulps.

Unsatisfied at his sibling's torturous agony, the Angel of Death strikes at him twice with his obsidian greatsword, displaying an incredibly honed sense of timing as he thrusts at the Anti-Seraphim through the tiny gaps between blades.

{AoD Attack 2 vs A-S, AC32: 1d20+18=33. Hit.}
{AoD Attack 3 vs A-S, AC32: 1d20+13=21. Miss.}
{Damage: 2d6+13=16}

Seraphim moves NW (5 foot step) to M20
Anti-Seraphim moves NW (5 foot step) to L19

The ebony blade comes out of the blade barrier covered in red.

Meanwhile, the other Angel of Death regard his closest Anti-Seraphim opponent. He shakes his head, almost in disappointment; apparently deciding the seriously wounded Angel is not a worthy opponent.

The Angel of Death instead wings his way toward the two Angels of Illumian now trapped withing Aldina's Force Cage.

Seraphim moves E, E, E, E, E, E, E, E, E, E, E, E, E, E, E, E, SE, SE, SE, SE, SE, SE, SE, SE, SE, SE, E, SE, SE, S (180ft) to AG43

From within the force cage, the two Anti-Seraphim do not appear afraid or daunted. Instead, they are looking back toward their formerly-intact Anti-Seraphim comrade, taking in his words.

They look to each other and then move slighty within the cage.

Anti-Seraphim moves E (5 foot step) to AI47
Anti-Seraphim moves E (5 foot step) to AH48

They chant a hymn, a dark dirge of threatened doom, before extending their hands in unison toward your flying cloud castle.

{Targeted Dispel Magic, DC28: 1d20+10=28, 1d20+10=25. One Success.}

For a moment nothing happens. Then you see the entire cloud shudder.

It drops a few feet and stops in a lurch, causing everyone on the cloud to fight to maintain their balance.

{Hobgoblin Balance check, DC15: 1d20+1=7, 1d20+1=8, 1d20+1=9, 1d20+1=12, 1d20+1=4, 1d20+1=16, 1d20+1=9, 1d20+1=18, 1d20+1=19, 1d20+1=5, 1d20+1=2. 8 Fail. 3 Successes.}
{Kofi Balance Check, DC15: 1d20+2=12. Fail.}
{Knox Balance check, DC15: 1d20+2=4. Fail.}
{Chaser: Reflexive ethereal success.}

Knox, Kofi, and most of the hobgoblins fall prone as the unsteady island drop away beneath them. Chaser assumes ethereal form on reflex, now standing by herself in mid-air.

Then the great cloud island falls! It begins a 500 foot free-fall from the sky...directly toward the city of West Wellington below!

Rachel glides, hanging, from beneath the cloud as it drops. The young Kaazradi's Vaadjori's is red with anger.

Rachel moves NW (5 foot step) to AL51

"Och! Ye bastairds!" she yells as she attacks with her repeating hand crossbow.

{Sneak Attack vs A-S, flat-footed AC28: 1d20+21=35. Hit.}
{Attack 2 vs A-S, AC32: 1d20+16=20. Miss.}
{Attack 3 vs A-S, AC32: 1d20+11=21. Miss.}
{Damage, crossbow bolt + Acid: 1d4+1d6=9}
{Sneak Attack damage: 8d6=34}
{Total Damage: 43 hp}

The head of the silver bolt breaks on impact. Acid splashes across  the Anti-Seraphim's skin, bringing a cry of pain from him as his skin sizzles.

But it no longer matters. The cloud castle continues to plummet away from all of you toward the unsuspecting populace of West Wellington.

T'Ning moves NE (5 foot step) to F30

T'Ning bows his head as the cloud falls towards West Wellington. "Ah hell, this ain't good..."  He vanishes momentairly, then reappears releasing a barrage of shurikens at the closest Anti-Seraphim.
