I meant to ask thisafter going to the London Super Comic Con, but I forgot.  So now that C2E2 has been advertised quite a lot and the convention section of the site hasn't been used in a while, I thought, rename the topic and post now.

SLCC was great my first proper Comic Con and it was worth the wait.  My main reason for going was Stan "The Man" Lee and getting my Amazing Spiderman #10 signed.  However by the end of the day I also had a signed canvas print.  It was already sighned by Alex Ross as being 4/100, then for £20 I got Stan Lee to sighn it aswell.  I have a certificate for both sighnatures, but cause Stan Lee was admiring the print for so long I had time to whip out my mobile and got a photo of him sighning it.  After the convention my VIP pass got me into the Stan Lee Q&A, where everybody in the room got to ask Stan a question.  My was a complete dumb ass question as 5 mins before my turn someone ask my original question.  I should have done what other people did and just asked to shake his hand.  A couple of people even asked for a hug Huh.

I also manage to buy a few old comics, which I have always wanted to get.  Best of which was Amazing Spiderman #129, the first appearence of the Punisher and the Jackal.  Also Uncanny X-men #3, which had the first apperance of the Brotherhood.  I then found Wolverine vol.2 issue #1 which was his first ongoing title. Then Ghost Rider #1 I wanted to buy the first appearence of these characters but the price was too high.

So that LSCC and I have my fingers crossed that I get San Diego next year as I missed out this year.  42,000 in the que line.

If I had the powers of Multiple Man, I would send one of the dupes to work, one to revise, one to clean my room and one to walk the dog.  While I would stay at home reading comics.

I went to Emerald CityCC a few months ago, the only things I bought were Walking dead figures of Rick and Michonne though. I was broke.
