I am glad to see the Avengers get more of the spotlight lately. It seems the X-Men have dominated everything for decades.

But while the X-Men get their own country, the Avengers are being impersonated by villains and such. I think the core Avengers are overdue for a reunion...and I hope Steve Rogers is the one to make that happen.

Then maybe we'll see some action figures.

Quite likely. I can't think of another reason why Dark Reign is even happening - chances are Osborn gets taken down by the Big Three just in time for the Avengers movie.

I foresee Captain America, along with Iron Man, bringing down Osborne and reuniting the Avengers into an assemblage of power and public prestige greater than it has ever experienced before. And, man, I can't wait!

This is what happens in a world without men like Steve Rogers.

It doenst work if the heroes bring down Osbourne. Osbourne has to hang himself.

A nice plan by the heroes to set some things in motion would be cool, though.

I never really thought much of Osborne as a villain before all of this but, like Cyclops, he has been taken to a whole 'nuther level.

Not sure what this has to do with action figures. But now I guess they can legitimately put a Norman Obsorne figure in with the Avengers' villain set.

It's all Spider-Man's fault for joining the New Avengers. ... Blame everything on Peter Parker!  Wink

This is kind of an old thread but someone's gotta keep this section alive. The recent post of the new DC action figures renewed my interest
(that link being here: http://www.majorspoilers.com/archives/31196.htm/)

Is anyone industrious enough to post links to action figures of at least comparable quality for the Classic Avengers of the late 70's-80's)?

The team I think of:

Captain America (Steve Rogers)
Iron Man (Classic Armor, Mark V)
Thor
Yellowjacket
Wasp (pick a costume from the dozens)
Vision
Scarlet Witch
Wonder Man (maybe the Gucci uniform)
Hawkeye
Quicksilver
Ms. Marvel (yellow lightning bolt costume)

I would love to assemble (no pun intended) this collection of good quality figures that look like they go together in a collection (ie, comparable construction style and relative height).

Know of any you would suggest (with pics or links)?

What is the specific line of action figures from this video?
