I managed to break my thumb which sucks cause typing is hard and gaming is even harder. Any Ideas of good games that are out there and don't require the use of a 2nd thumb stick that would still play ok if I used my fingers to tap the buttons. Keep in mind i have a Wii, Xbox 360, 3DS, and PS2 and previous systems from each company. Any suggestions would be awesome cause other than firing up a game I've beaten several times already I don't have many ideas.

Are 3DS controls similar to a DS/DSlite?  Because if you have any games that do not require the L1/R1 buttons up on the corners, you could always use other fingers for the A B X Y buttons.  Otherwise, you might want to look into some games that are more about strategy than about skill, like some puzzle games or turn based games without a set time limit for your turns.

Truth be told, my right thumb is still relatively new to gaming as I used to use the controller in a really weird way (I would use fingers rather than thumbs for the button mashing with an old NES and continued to play that way until I got a PS2 and had to get used to it so I could use the L1/R1 buttons).

I sprained my big toe yesterday while exercising. Breaks can be bad. Sprains are just annoying.

It has also made typing very difficult. If only I had other appendages I could use for that.

No advice on the gaming thing but I'm sorry to hear about your break, Rev. No thumb war, hitchhiking, or pulling plumbs from Christmas pies for six weeks.

lol Thanks for more or less the advice. I was looking for titles i could play rather than ones to avoid. I knew that Turn Base Strategy and some of the role playing games with turn style combat would probably work better.
