[chrysalis]

"No, I come in peace. My friends only do that because YOU have threatened ME. Can we not retreat somewhere to discuss this further?"

[Navarre]

Nephros laughs through gritted teeth. There is no humor in her voice.

"Peace?!? Discussion??"

"You speak of freeing the Primordial while your Elven ally interposes himself between our Elves and Illumian's city. Then we are ambushed by your 'friends'?"

"We will bring you peace, betrayer...the peace of the dead!"

[Navarre]

Valiant regards Tom Know briefly before scrutinizing you even more carefully. You believe the magical creature to be evaluating and comparing your individual merits, deciding which- if either- should ride him.

But, though noble and capable Sir Knox is, his soul does not flow with the World Spirit as does yours. Valiant declines his head to you before coming low on one front leg, offering you a place on his back as an equal comrade in a hard-fought war.

[Gaumer]

Bedlor pats Valiant gently on his flank

"Thank ye, my friend."

And orders the castle

"Throwin' axes an' belts; javelins an' quivers. An' two lances, one smaller; an' 'olders for Valiant's saddles to stow 'em lances if needed."

[Navarre]

Valiant acknowledges you with respect as you touch him. At the same time, a veritable arsenal of throwing axes and javelins appear on your back and sides, as it does on Valor's suddenly-modified saddle. Strapped to either side are now lances, the left slightly smaller.

Coby looks at you and nods.

"Nice, yep-yep. I'll try to put this hammer to as much good use as you did," he smiles, still looking a bit embarrassed at the sudden changing of the guard.

[chrysalis]

"Everyone can sit down with us, and I love it how you think you know everything because you certainly don't."

"Actually, I don't care, go ahead and kill me. I'm not letting Sashca send me back again."

[Navarre]

Nephros sneers.

"Why would our Goddess send someone back from her door?? She has never done that...for anyone."

[chrysalis]

"I am part of the said prophecy, Angelborne. You four are the first angels I have ever spoke with. Sashca gave me a choice to return because she respects the prophecy. She didn't tell me to free the primordial, I just assumed I was supposed to. Maybe you should tell me more about the evils they have caused. You see, I am not from this world, so I do not know your history. I only know that I have a prophecy to carry through with and Sashca supported me enough to send me back."

[Navarre]

Nephros looks you over carefully. You feel as if she is scanning your soul, much like you have done to others yourself.

"In-teresting..."

"I do not know of this prophesy of which you speak. Yet you clearly believe what you are saying."

"I detect no charm upon you and your mind seems clear. And, yes, there is something quite unusual about your aura. You do not ... 'fit'...here. I see that now."

"Yet you so closely resemble my 'sister' Tandranara that you could almost be twins. I am perplexed...and duly suspicious...but I admit I am intrigued."

She pauses, thinking.

"Very well. I will spare you so that we may treat as respected brethren."

"But first, we will slay those who attacked us," she says, looking toward the cloud.

[chrysalis]

"The one that attacked you was sent back to this world by Sashca as well, and he only attacked you because you were going to attack me. He's a true friend. If you are injured, I can heal you. He will not attack again, I can assure you."

[Strifeter]

Tren nods and looks at the bowmen still trained on his person.

"You think it the work of one person and unfortunately I believe I know who it was. You see in my travels of this world all-be-it short lived so far I have found that a certain individual has been around causing trouble for many people. Leading them to war for a reason I am not sure of yet.

Tell me do the tracks tell of a gender?"

[Navarre]

Aerik nods.

"The tracks were difficult to determine race but they were boots. Female boots."

"What are you suggesting?"

[Navarre]

Liv, Nephros does not look at all reassured. In the seconds it takes for you to hold your discussion, your allies have the opportunity to act.

{Bedlor, it is Valiant's turn. Do you want to coax him to do something?}

Can Bedlor hear me if I yelled?
