Encounters

Is there anyone else who takes part in WotC's Encounters program?  I've been playing in it since I believe the second season, the one that introduced Dark Sun to 4th Edition.  It was also my first introduction to 4th Edition.  I haven't missed a season yet, I've even DMed a couple seasons, after passing my RPGA DM's test.  Each one has been a blast, though I do find it annoying that every season is only levels 1-3.  I understand why Wizards does it, since it's supposed to introduce new players to the game, but nearly all the people who play at my LC&GS have been playing it for a while, so it'd be nice to get to explore higher levels.  Maybe we'll get to in the upcoming seasons, since the three after the current one are supposed to be part of a longer storyline that goes through all three seasons.

I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.  WotC hasn't updated the characters in over 4 seasons, they are unlikely to mess with the format.  They haven't really realized that the current Encounters is not a good introduction for beginners and are kind of phoning it in at this point rather than changing anything.
