Just moments ago, I had a conversation with a Sociology professor at my college in Texas, and she gave me a PHB to an RPG that she and another professor of Sociology created.

Called "Choices & Chances", it is a realistic take on the mundane world, with all random rolls to determine your race, age, marital status, children, education, and wealth. It's really cool!

Here's a link to a Teaching Sociology page with pdf links to download the game; I strongly urge everyone to give it a try!

And, best yet, she's agreed to be my Gaming Club's advisor, so I'm well on my way to forming a Table-Top and Card Gaming Club! Grin

Before I get banned for posting crazy all-cap super-font, I'll say "Dragons are...okay."   Wink

But the sociology RPG is clever.

It's like an on-topic thread endorsement and a diss, all in one.  Tongue

Cool

I am doing something similar on an international scale in a poli-sci course this semester. The gaming qualities have encouraged participation in learning.
