After hours of frantic pace I crouch down briefly to try to gather my wits and my bearings;

I hope we're not lost already.
This pace is a real killer though, if the group pushes it much more I think we may all be suffering come the end of the day.

Breathing heavily, Rygar leans over with his hands on his knees, his earlier breakfast threatening to regurgiate.

"Aye, we been struglin' for a while now...*pant, pant* How much further, Elder Jonus?"

Jonus be gone mate, did ye not notice we slowed down a ton once he departed? Just us and this dam itchin' grass now.

Briccys tries to reach an especially itchy spot on his back, fails and resorts to shifting into his cat form, a huge mottled Jaguar, sleek flanks coated with the annoying grass seeds, before rolling around a little to ease the irritation.
Shifting back he looks a little embarrassed and smiles sheepishly.

Sorry, I sometimes forget myself in polite company

Arthelian while breathing a bit heavily does not seem worse for the wear. He keeps himself crouched down slightly, moving slowly forward hands brushing the small seeds of his kilt. He sees Briccys' transformation he smiles and pats the slightly taller man on the shoulder giving him a wry grin.

"My good friend, nothing to worry about there. I have met others of  your calling before, and it will do us much good to have a bold boisterous brawler in battle! I just hope you do not ever forget your self when you happen to be craving goat

He smirks patting the druid's shoulder. Then he glances over at Rygar, "You ok there my scaled friend?

Smiles, Oh quite alright my fine fellow. Thinking out loud can be helpful at times, I often think out loud through song. It sounds strange but trust me it works quite well.

Offers Rygar his water to help recuperate him.

Rygar accepts the waterskin from Arthelian, nodding in appreciation. "Thanks." Heeding Briccys's words, Rygar takes a solid swig of water, letting the cool drink soothe his dry tongue, exhaling slowly through his nostrils the ease his breathing. After a brief moment, he swallows and hands the Satyr his flask, "Much 'ppreciated, Arthel'. He seems oddly subdued...

Bryccis, do you need some more of that ointment I found for you last week?

Rikkon, with a twinkle in his eye, turns to the rest of the group. Now, you all wouldn't want to be going to that nearby Isle without me would you?  That just wouldn't be smart at all. His arms are open in a consilatory motion and he takes his cane and waves it in a mock-scolding motion.

Khaspar, despite having trained as a scout with Jonus, is exhausted.  He is a bit more stoic about his exhaustion, and after some water and a short rest, he forces his breathing back to normal, though it is apparent he is still quite shaken.

"Briccys, your optimism empowers us all."

Then, after a moment's consideration, and more quietly: "You're right, though...

"Aye, Briccys...just angsty 'sall...haven't been out this far yet, an' I keep 'spectin' somethin' to attack, yeah?

Slapping his face twice, he turns to the Dwarf with a smile, "'Ey, Rikkon! Glad you caught up! Weren't our fault, tho', since Elder Jonus near ran us dead earlier.

A big grin on his face, Rygar hops from foot-to-foot, a new energy lifting up his spirits. He looks to Khaspar, and Arthelian, and Briccys, and let's out a hearty laugh, "Yeah, we're gonna find somethin' alright! Food, water, settler folk, monsters...what am I doin' actin' all dreary? This is a day for ADVENTURE, boys!! WHOO!

{Do not forgot Strife's char is theoretically with us as well}

Arthelian nods to Rikkon, Nice to see that you caught up my dauntless dwarf dandy.

He then smirks at Rygar giving a light laugh, It could be Scribe Jonus' pace, or it could be the length of Rikkon's legs. Perhaps a bit of both. I imagine some of this grass was over your head Rikkon, though to be fair some of it was just about brushing my handsome horns.
