So as some of you know I am currently running a 4E Hex-Blade (Winter's Mourning Pact Weapon)..So my plans for the char so far..Is going DIS, then AIS: Light Blade...WLR..WLMR..MC:Rogue and eventually Frost Cheese...Just wondering about the order..My initial first feet was WLE..But now that we have 2-3 defenderish classes, I plan on retraining it out I think. Any thoughts would be helpful.

I would do everything I could at first to get my accuracy and defenses sorted.
you cant do Dual Implement until Paragon anyway and your goign to want to get dual pact in there as well.
Frost cheese automatically eats up 2 feats as well, so its going to be a tough one to get the order right. I'm a fan of getting the multi-classing done at an early stage as it opens up more avenues and might push you in a direction you didn't see earlier.

MC: Rogue and Frost Cheese are pretty much mandatory to make Hex Blade viable at higher levels. For cool things like Deft Blade and Surprising Charge

Here's my issue with Essentials...

When you begin creating an Essentials build character in D&D, are you locked into the powers and features of your build?? Or can you choose at the appropriate levels the myriad of powers available from the other Essentials and Core books??
