I'm in observing mode. I know I wouldn't be able to start up a game myself (especially without the DMG or D&DI) so I'm waiting to see if something develops that will hopefully last more than a couple levels. If nothing does come up before you wrap up your game I'd certainly be happy to join any campaign you wanted to hold. Until then, there's always my other WoTC branded passtime to keep me busy.

Can you tell us a little about your game world, Strifeter? Is it a custom world?

Yes absolutely. I have been meaning to post about it.
This is a very brief recap of the world.
The world is broken. Long ago a dark wizard brought upon the demons of the underworld who wrecked havoc throughout the land. There are only pockets of resistance left. Nothing truly organized as the demons who roam free would cruch anything that got too powerful.
The land is vast but no one alive remebers just how big. The demons have claimed this world for over a century and made sure to kill anyone who could have posed a threat.
Fortunately for the PCs. This is not where you come from. Your PCs are from different universes altogether. This is actually where it gets more interesting and complicated.
At the start of the game you will all be brought to a certain point in this universe and explained further everything you need to know.
As for the PC universe I am completely open and willing to work with each person to create a basic outline. As they will become important to the characters background and in game.
My goal is to create something fun and magical for all the players. My brand of story telling is truly a happy and enjoyable game with dark moments and stress to truly bring out the characters voice.
One more secret you will get early on in the game is that your story is revolving around a magical book that will help open the characters eyes to a world in which they never knew.

So do I have anyone interested?

Yeah, I'm in.
So, each PC comes from a different universe? I'm just going to play Bedlor again

Granted we start at level 1 hehe. But I am glad your in. YEs working with me. EIther here or PM if you want it to be something for the others to discover later.
Think of the game as a mix between Myst and Demon Souls. But not as crazy difficult. hehe

May I play an Elven Rogue who was raised in Hell by an epic level Wizard? I hear those are really fun to play.

Hmm...So, we can come up with our own backstory or have it hidden and have it come up later? If that is the case, and we ARE going from one universe to another, I think it would be more interesting to have my character searching for answers of WHERE he comes from, not HOW to get back there, which is what I see my character's first reaction being to ending up in a different universe
So, gimme the surprise, Strif! Amnesia, possession, magical "forget-me-soons", whatever. I'm getting excited.
Now, for my PC. I'm thinking if there's demon stuff going down that a cleric is going to a useful class. Maybe
Supernatural
with morningstars instead of slat filled shotgun shells.

Sounds interesting, kinda like exiles (which I loved). I'd like to play but I'd probably have to wait and see what the posting schedual would be like. Being in a different time zone can pose problems. I'll be an interested lurker at least.
Oh if someone has a familiar or similar companion I could play that. Just to provide red herrings and snark.

Im Feeling the whole amnesia route. I think i would like to play a wizard type character who creates things that go BOOM. But they go boom randomly, maybe some kind of wierd magical mis-wiring since hes not from this universe. You could do a 10 percent chance of things going wrong and 1 percent of a catastrophic failure. The wizard would be the bookish type that cant seem to figure out why is inventions dont work right.

Both characters I've created I would love to have another chance to play through to experience more of what they could have been... but considering the way you described the world, it may be interesting to play Ronin (a starblade Tiefling), maybe even (with your permission) as a native living in one of those small remaining pockets of resistance?

I will start a new interest thread today to move the conversation about my game there.
Red - Theres always room for a little chaos (Right Nav). I'll definitely be able to work that in.
Number2 - Is a starblade in 3.5 if so go for it. We could work out your character being from the game world but in PM because I don't want to take all the mystery away from the other players right away. Plus I would need to re-write a couple of things. But by all means.
