"It doesn't sound like the city thinks much more of me than they did in my own world. Rachel may have the best advantage of all, because she knows the city like the back of her hand yet has never actually been there in this world."

Donovan shakes his head.

"I don't know. As far as I know my religion, the Primordial created Kallum Enghart as the first mortal and the legacy weapons right after. I don't know why this world is different."

"But I do like your idea of working with the Earthkin. If they do indeed exist and we can befriend them, we could not only get in and out of West Wellington easily but we could have those two statues we found unearthed in minutes."

"If the Bedlor and Moria of this time are so totally different, and we think the Abby and Erika are as well, the maybe they are all the opposite from our world. I mean, look at the town. Frankie is the mayor, my parents are normal and loving. If this holds true to everyone, then we have a huge advantage over figuring out who will betray. "

"Even if divide and conquer is their tactic they may believe that we know that and try to counter us knowing they like to divide and conquer Enghart. Plus you know full well we would only be bringing even more attention to ourselves should my section of this team walk into West Wellington."

Tren pulls out the clothing he asked for.

"I have these for everyone. They should help us blend in a little more. As for my idea for the cart I feel negotiating with that armorer again will only cause more delays and we need to move quickly now."

"I not be thinkin' we can be makin' judgements on 'em we not be knowin' for sure'n. It be all guesses, guesses we can be makin' wrong.

Aye, sure'n they may be knowin' o' us knowin' their plan...but be listenin' to that, mate. Be crazy thinkin's. Ye an' this other group need not enter the West city. Bedlor, Erika touches you lightly on the arm as you speak. She glances at the hobgoblin just outside of the clearing.

"Daddy, Samm, and I have had more than one hobgoblin raider try to steal our sheep before. I used to think they all looked alike but they don't."

"Does that hobgoblin not look familiar to you?"

"Oi, they all be lookin' the same to me..."

Erika rubs one finger along her temple.

"Hmm, no, I've seen him before. I don't remember when though. Maybe it was at our ranch, I don't know. It could have been at that lair we raided though."
