I'm sure everybody knows already, but this series is utterly awesome. Hill, Rodriguez and IDW are to be commended for this consistently compelling work. I've been catching the trades as they come out, and the fourth, Keys To The Kingdom, has just found it's way in to my collection. The Calvin & Hobbes first section is genius. The only killer is the wait between books
Oh, and Major Spoilers have a quote on the back of this one, as they did on vol2 Head Games.

Locke and Key is the reason I got back into the comic game and the Bill Waterston part at the beginning of Volume 4 was one of those things I read and reread all the time. It has that same kind of innocent fun that Calvin and Hobbes always had for me and blended so well with the story for that issue.

Locke and Key is a must buy series for anyone who loves comics or great story telling.

It's the only book my wife reads. She got me Vol 1 for Christmas last year, at my behest after the Major Spoilers' glowing reviews. After she read it she asked when I was geting Vol 2. She pointed out when Vol 3 was out. And actually bought the hardback Vol 4. It's SUCH a good book.
Plus, my wife is awesome

For those interested, which should be everybody coz Locke And Key is AWESOME, the one shot "Guide To Known Keys" is an incredibly emotional tale.

Agree with everyone here.  I know this thread is pretty dead but this is where my thoughts belong on this topic

I am really late to the party on this one but the great thing was I was able to read up on everything in a few hours.  Now I just have to wait for issue 6 of clockwork.  Believe it is going to be a 12 issue run so I caught up just in time to wait a year with the rest o you!
