Action Comics for me. Grant Morrison on Superman is a must. I hope it develops into a Batman length run.

Though, I'm getting Justice League too (seriously, who isn't). And I think I'm checking out 5 other number ones: The Flash (how can you not dig Manapul's art?); Wonder Woman (it's Azzarello, come on); Superman (need to know what's happening); All-Star Western (you need to try something different, right?). AND Aquaman (somehow I've been convinced to buy Aquaman, let's hope I don't regret it).

All-Star Western (you need to try something different, right?)

That is pretty much half of the exact reason I'm considering that title myself (the other half is knowing...   No, wait, that's GI Joe).

Also, Cartoon Network had a commercial for "The New 52" yesterday morning...  During the middle of "The Looney Tunes Show".  I found that amusing because of the Warner Bros/DC affiliation.

I love using the "Knowing is half the battle" line, all I can.

And yeah, I guess it makes sense they'd shove their adverts there.

Aside from the obvious (Justice League and Batman) I'm really looking forward to Hawk and Dove.

Listening to Sterling Gates talk about the book on Twitter shows me that he has real affection for these characters.
Are they disregarding the whole Monarch/Extant problem?

I'm not sure about that, but Sterling definately has been excited about the pages he's seen so far.

And Liefeld said that Sterling is writing some great cliffhangers for this book.  It seems like it will be old school fun.

An odd thing that I'm really excited for is the new Static Shock.

Of the beings in the Timm-verse DCAU, Static always had a special place in my heart. It may be abhorrent nostalgia, but I love the guy. When I heard he was getting his own place in the relaunch, I immediately found myself phoning my local comic shop and adding it to my pull list.

There's a small bit of hope that we'll eventually see the continuity of this or another series make its way to featuring the more mature (see: JLU/Batman Beyond) version of Vergil. I truly hope his character is not age-locked!

Outside of that, I'll be picking up the first two issues of everything eventually to see how things go, and from there make my way through those that really interest me.

I always thought it was neat that they added Static to the DCAU even though at the time he'd only ever appeard in mainstream DCU during the Milestone/DC crossover event (at least that's all I can recall of Static actually being in the DCU before they merged him in not too long ago).  I even still watched repeats of the toon up until it disappeared from Disney XD earlier this year.

I'm intrigued a bit by the new series despite never having been a huge fan of the older comics (although I did pick up the occasional odd issue when the grocery store actually got one).  I won't say it's on my "Must Buy" list, but I might pick it up if I have a few extra bucks to spare when I do get to the comic shop to grab the others.
