But can you put that list in descending order of preference instead of alphabetical?   Wink

Prolly not. Smiley

Too much pressure. I'm staying with what I got.

Then it'll be a shame if you have to drop 6 titles. That'll be bad for all those X-books.

No, I think that's the final list with switching out one or both or the FF books (just on principle...maybe not) for an x-book if I need to.

It a bit more than I like to spend but I have a weekly limit of 20 dollars and anything leftover I'm allowed to save in my box until I can get it, or Xmas gifts. Right now I have about 2-3 inches of comics (how else can you measure?) in my hold box getting ready for Xmas buyouts. Like 10 issues of Wolverine: The Best There Is I know for sure Smiley

Well, I went and picked up my first couple of number 2s this week. Superman 2 had me pretty enthralled, but Stormwatch #2 felt really disjointed and confusing. Anyone else read that one?

Not Stormwatch but I'm assuming you mean Action Comics #2?

I haven't got to that yet either but its on my stack.

I envy you guys, I really want to read more of the 52 I heard some good things on the podcast about a couple of titles. Instead I just picked up some Spidey stuff. I think I may pick up some trades when they become available. I generally view dc/vertigo comics in trade format.

Are these comics getting released in TPB or HC format? I don't really care for the single issues Sad

You mean are they collecting the entire New 52?  Probably not.  They might collect the first several issues of specific titles, but I don't think they'll collect the rest together simply because it's not really one connected story as a whole (aside from the multiple appearances of the strange hooded woman showing up in several titles as well as being a new start for all the comics).

I could always be wrong, though.

I thought I heard somewhere that the 52 first issues will be put into a huge trade. I could be wrong but I swear I heard that somewhere.

Well, there you go, I've been proven wrong.  Although I think at that price it's not quite the same as the usual collected trades.

For 52 issues you are talking less than three dollars an issue at that price.  They will probably include some other info as well not a bad price if you were willing to wait.  Not as good as the deals most comic shops had though.
Do they do trades digitally?

Digital trades sort of defeat the purpose don't they?

I think 52 collected number 1's is about the dumbest idea I have ever heard. Buying a collected edition of the first chapters of 52 ongoing books is about stupid.

Anyone who has any sort of pull-list at a LCS or onlineCS already bought any of the new 52 they wanted below 3 bucks a book, or still has the chance to do so if they get a reprinting, which is all the "trade for the sake of trade" the new 52 collected is.

That's the same reason I thought they wouldn't collect them all together.  I could see collecting the connected family #1's (like all the Superman family first issues, or the Batman family first issues, etc), but collecting 52 barely connected #1 issues in one book seems silly to me.

Re: The Digital Trade
I don't do digital yet since I do not have an item I would care to use to view them.   With that being said, If a Trade goes for $12-$15 and the Original 6 issues are $3-$4 each, would a bundle or trade at the lower price not be enticing?
I do realize that many digital issues go cheaper after a short time but just wondering.
Considering the fact that the trades bundle like issues or a specific story, it may be adventageous to the novice reader to find these bundles so they can get a complete story instead of trying to determine which issues to buy, especially if they move through more than one comic.
