Paul McCartney is a Skrull

The one great oversight of the Secret Invasion was that All of The Beatles are Skrull agents.

Consider this. Shortly after their return from Hamburg, (Where Skrull Stu Sutcliff was recalled), George (The quiete one)was replaced.

After the birth of Julian Lennon, John was replaced while he was celebrating the birth of his son. Cynthia Lennon realized that something was not right with her husband. Skrull Lennon drifted from her and eventually into the arms of Yoko (more about her shortly)

When Ringo became ill and needed a replacement on the Austrailian leg of their tour he was replaced.

Paul was the last one to be switched out. SkrullLinda assisted in keeping Paul out of the public eye and even helped filter the idea that he was dead. The Beatles stopped touring so that they could concentrate on slowly adding mind control into their music to weaken the mind of the most powerful nations on the planet. Their use of the music video eventually blossomed into a station on cable that aired this new medium 24/7.
The break-up was a result of the macinations of the Yoko One the heroine of the story. This brave member of the anti-skrull resince worked behind the scenes and undercover for years. Her singing on everything Skrull Lennon did was part of the plan to counteract the mind control or what we know as the end of Beatlemania. Her close work with Nixon and FBI head Hoover cost him the presidency and the later his life. Why do you think Hoover had that file on Lennon. The declassified pagesare red herrings to throw the general public off of the scent of the Alien Invasion preparations.
When Skrull Lennon realized that his wife knew what was going on, he broke up with her, then eventually her influence crept backwhen she revealed that she was indeed carrying the cloned child of John Lennon. Skrull Lennon came back into the picture to use that influence bring the Beatles back together. They all realized that Wings was not doing the same work and the solo work was not influencing the public like they wanted.
While Double Fantasy was being recorded, The Beatles were planning their reunion. Yoko worked with a skrull double agent who took the form of Mark David Chapman's dog and brainwashed the patsy to kill the skrull. Yoko worked out the details and the rest is history.

George then became the lead man first with a solo album followed by a stint with the Traveling Wilburys. The Anthology and new songs of the 90's were the next attempt, but Yoko also sabotaged that. Her obstruction & stonewalling of the Beatles attempts at advancement has saved us hundreds of times over. Her murder of Skrullinda and Skrull George reduced the advance force even further so that the only high profile skrulls left are Ringo Skrull, Skrull McCartney and Michael JackSkrull (replaced just before Thriller).
