I was thinking of going to Sonic myself. It's 88 here.

But I've spent so much money eating out this week I think even a milkshake is one luxury too many.

In some ways, I think Explosions in the Sky falls in this category.

Honestly, I love them and I appreciated them in a musical sense from the moment I heard one of their songs.  But I never really just absolutely fell in love with them until I heard "Your Hand in Mine."  After hearing that song, I started to really get the sense that there was FAR more emotion behind their music than I got from it before.  It's a little hard to get in to, because of the lack of vocals, but it's great stuff to fall asleep to.  It makes relaxation almost feel like a dream sequence.  So awesome in a lot of ways.

I was raised by my grandparents. But I never acquired the taste for Lawrence Welk or pickin'-&-grinnin' from Hee-Haw.

I used to see Roy Clark play on Hee Haw on Saturday afternoons.  He is a badass on guitar and Banjo...totally awesome.
