I stopped by last night for a Shamrock Shake and had to get a Happy Meal just for the toy!  I got Robin on his motorcycle.  Thought I'd spread the word to any fans out there.

Really? So I could have my very own Miss Martian action figure?

That shouldn't make me excited, should it?  Huh   Grin

Sorry .. .no Mrs. Martian.  They have Robin on a Motor Cycle.  Batman with Cap action.  Superboy with punch and light up symbol and eyes.  Superman with lifting arms.  Aqualad with light up tatoos.  Black Manta with light up eyes.  Kid flash on pull back and go base.  Captain Cold with missle launcher.

Why is there always discrimination against female heroes? Little girls could benefit from having female role models and boys could benefit from realizing females are just as capable as males.

My Happy Meal is gender-biased. I want my M'gann.

Not sure why the "Huh" emoticon was there so I'm just going to say this:

They ask if the happy meal is for a boy or a girl now.  Boys and Girls each get different toys.  If you knew this already, please disreguard.

The "huh" emoticon was the closest I could find to "Whyyyy?!??"

My daughter would be more likely to like superheroes if she had some prominent role models. But instead she got Hannah Montana.

She did like Black Widow in Iron Man 2. So I hope The Avengers gives some spotlight there. Hard to do standing next to the super-patriot, a god, and the world's richest man.

But maybe the Happy Meal will have a Black Widow toy at least.

My daughter doesn't mind boy superheroes, as long as they're not dumb.  She loves Arthur (from The Tick) and has a thing for Superman and who she calls "Flash Boy."

Yeah, I don't think girls need only female superheroes. That would be its own sort of gender-bias.

But people more easily identify with those most like themselves. I know my daughter always wanted me to play Ms. Marvel in the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance game because she had long blond hair like my daughter.
