All the crap I've drawn on my walls.  I do the pencils and inks, my wife paints 'em.  Anyway, check it out and let me know what you guys think.

Thanks!

Looks good!

I like the renderings of the females. Very nice.

Thanks for sharing.   Cool

Nice stuff man.  It looks like you draw inspiration from people like Jim Lee and Ed Benes.

Navarre:  Thanks!

Blackthunder: Good eye.  Yeah, most of the stuff were drawn looking at Lee and Benes pics.

Thanks for the kind words!

I'm a fan of Lee and Benes myself.  Smiley  Since we seem to be like minded in that sense, what do you think of Ian Churhill?

I loves me some Churchill!  He did some really cool X-Men stuff, like one of the Age of Apocalypse books.  Great Supergirl stuff, too.  He's one of my faves, along with Benes, Lee, Madureira, Reis and Van Sciver.

Ian Churchill is a favorite of mine as well. He has his critics but, bottom line, he puts something on the page I enjoy.

Smiley  I like this guy.  He likes what I like.  You can stay.  /joke

I was so happy when Ian did the Titans East Special that then moved into the Titans comic.  But then by issue 2 he was already off the book and that lead to a big frownie face.  (His supergirl is awesome indeed.  I loved Supergirl#0... aka Superman/Batman #18.  I wish he'd do more work with Gotham enviroments.  His take on Gotham City Sirens or Birds of Prey would be nice.)

And I like you, as well, kind sir.  Always nice to see folks who agree with my tastes.  I don't really enjoy the "realistic" artists.  Quitely is one of the worst (for me).  His Superman in All Star looked old, flabby, and looked like he was wearing an adult diaper that was pulled up to his nips.

Churchill falls under the group of artists that I enjoy.  I am a male, and I enjoy pretty womens.  I want the heroines in my comics to be sexy and fit, and he does that very well.  As does Benes, Lee, Reis, etc.  I think there is nothing wrong with a little cheesecake in a comic.  And these guys deliver.

Hey, Navarre.

I think I've started posting in my sleep.  My subconscious seems to call itself applejack1310.  Smiley

I couldn't agree with you more on every point you make.

I think the forum eventually connects your mind to the Dream Realm, blurring the line between reality and the dreamscape.

Damascus posted something the other day in the Is My Taste in Things Good or Bad? thread:

Besides Party of Five had me fall in love with three girls at once, Neve Campbell, Lacey Chabert and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

I read over it, like any and every other post on here, and went on about my day.

That night I dreamed I was visiting a large house where about a dozen people lived. One of them was Lacey Chabert.

She came over and sat next to me, cozying up the way a girlfriend would. She was trying very hard to seduce me, making promises of passion and trailing her hand over my leg and chest.

This may have only been a dream but I prefer to think I was visiting an alternate reality version of myself through the Dream Realm. Maybe applejack can draw that scene for me.   Grin

Blackthunder:  It's getting a little creepy that our tastes are so similar.  What are your thoughts on Count Chocula?

Navarre:  Wanna hear another creepy note?  I had a very similar dream about Neve Campbell once.  She came over and hung out watching a movie with me and seemed like she was pretty into me.  Only dream I've ever had about a celebrity.

That's interesting that we've both had dreams about girls from Party of Five.

If we could get your dream and my dream put together we'd have a lot of possibilities there with Neve and Lacey's reunion.   Wink

Yes, Lacey is delicious.

5' 2", petite, brunette, and cute. Totally my type.

I wonder if your wife would let you draw Lacey on your wall? lol
