I know nothing of the Goon but i remember that it was supposed to get a movie treatment that apparently never happened.  I saw the trailer and liked it.  Then it disappeared again.  (Same thing happened with the Living Corpse movie I wanted to see.)

They reviewed The Goon a while ago on the podcast.
The Goon: Chinatown=Pure Awesome is a thread you can check out as well originally posted by The Julian in this very forum.  He is a big advocate for that series and was the major push I bet behind it getting reviewed.
