Looting the library

A situation from the latest D&D session, the Kama-Sutra for elves was something my GM put out there as a throw away joke and I made a situation out of it

I'm not too sure about the background I have chosen for this peace, Like so many artists I hate doing backgrounds, but I have been told to do them for my own good. I'd like to know what people think about the sketchy style and muted colours of it and what you think of the peace as a whole.

Also, people tilting their heads back, not my strong-point anyone know about some good visual references out there ?

Not bad, the backgrounds are good.

I'd recommend taking a look at the perspective of the book (should be tilted a little bit more or should maybe be a bit smaller) it looks like the character is holding it completely perpendicular to the ground in the 1st and 3rd panel, which would be awkward. Other than that, I like it. The head-tilting is not problematic

I agree with Rodrigo on the angle of the book but otherwise I think it is good. The background invokes imagery of a musty old library of forgotten tomes.

Thanks, I can see the perspective issues, I wanted to get a pretty "cartoony" look and exaggerated perspective, that being the reason that the book looks so big. I'll work more on it next time

The tattoo-face is Leonard the shandar-kai wizard, his eyes glows of fire because of his spell scared feature

Just a situation that came up in our game, To get in the good graces of a very powerfull countess, the party played up their noble backgrounds (those who did not have such things just made up a title for themselves), they were all invited to a fancy party and had to wear their best clothes. Designing old timey fancy clothing was a challenge, but very fun and considering it's a high fantasy campaign I had a lot of freedom in any case.

The first image seems to have disappeared Sad

Second image is looking cool, your verticals seem to be getting a bit titlty at points so the walls are looking a  a little off but overall a very cool image. Sounds like it was a fun session Smiley
