Along the Eastern Road

Faerun, you find all of your friends asleep...or so you thought.

Several minutes after everyone goes to sleep you hear a slight rustling at the edge of the clearing. You look to see T'Ning returning to the camp, carrying something.

Having selected a small bunch of pretty pink and white flowers, I look at Rachel, make sure she's truly asleep, and place them carefully on her pillow, or rather, where 'on her pillow' would be if she had a pillow.

Then I quietly walk away and lay down to sleep myself.

[Navarre]

Just before dawn the wolf finally returns. If it caught anything it did not bring it back to the camp. It lays down quietly and rests for a few minutes as The Eye's rays begin to peek over the horizon.

Soon enough, everyone is waking up, feeling refreshed.  You feel ready for another long day of travel as you now prepare to head along the eastern road that will take you to Forest Falls.

Good morning, all. Moria, the first thought on my mind this morning was our mistress of poison that we have out there. Did you happen to save any of those flowers that you said were an antidote to the poison they gave Carrigan?"

[Navarre]

Moira stretches and dons her clerical robe.

"Good morning, Liv. I had begun making antitoxins from the flowers but only distilled enough for one dose before other events required my attention."

"I do have a Delay Poison prayer prepared though so I hope we will be safe."

"Did everyone sleep well?" she says. She looks at you, Faerun.

"How do you manage to stay awake all night, even when you do not need sleep? If it were me, I'd get lonely."

"I passed the time with illusions."

Moira raises her eyebrows.

"Oh, I see. Well, fantasy only takes you so far, my friend."

"Shall we be on our way? If i am correct, we won't arrive in Forest Falls until tomorrow morning, assuming we make good time today."

[Navarre]

Rachel comes over to you, T'Ning, holding the pink and white flowers.

"Yuir apology, I take it?" she asks with a small and curious smile.

"T'ey are very nice...as aire ye. Dinna fret. I know ye didna be askin' fir Cloud to be rubbin' 'er lips on ye t'at way."

"I guess...watchin' ye get all sweaty wit' anot'er woman like t'at and t'en 'er layin' a wet kiss to boot, well..."

"A girl 'as a right to be a wee bit jealous once in a while, eh?"

She starts rolling up her bedroll and packing.

"Remind me to tell ye sometime aboot wot t'e Kaazradi t'ink of cheaters. ... Do ye know wot a 'eunuch' be?" she gives a remarkably sinister grin.

She shoulders her gear and walks by you toward Ballerina.

"T'ank ye fir t'e flowers."

Bedlor checks on his team of animals and prepares to get underway.

[Navarre]

All of the animals are in good stead. The wolf looks quite well rested to have been hunting all night while the wolverine is already looking for its own breakfast.

The ice bear stretches and yawns, letting a long moan as it gears itself up for the walk. The rhinoceros is scratching above its hindquarters on a tree branch, causing the small tree to sway precariously.

Azure is already in flight as all of you saddle your horses.

{Everyone good to break camp and begin traveling?}

"I'm all packed and ready to go. Anyone need help? Erika, Jackson."

[Navarre]

Both Erika and Jackson have packed their horses in record time. Erika has her City Guard training while Jackson did such work as his occupation until recently.

Likewise, Dalen and Cloud have readied Hailstorm. Although they usually walk so they can hunt, they are familiar with the totem animal of the Einshar they worship.

Realizing any conversation can be had on the way to Forest Falls, you begin your journey. You walk your horses off of the hill back down to the crossroads. You all turn east and begin traveling.
