I've never been wowed by Scarlett Johanssen for some reason but I am in the minority there. There is little wrong with her and certainly a fine choice for the thread.

I had meant to watch that movie and never did. I'll give it a go.

While there is nothing wrong with Scarlett, her face just doesn't quite do it for me. A woman's face is the foremost quality that catches my attention and, while she is pretty/sexy/smoldery, her face isn't the type that makes me say wow.

Pathetic though it may be, I have been known to watch a movie simply because it starred an actress I find attractive.

A movie I did enjoy and saw for the first time last night was "Scott Pilgrim vs The World". It starred the nicely fine Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Never really cared for Mary Elizabeth Winstead, or the Scott/Ramona characters I'd rather have seen a Tarantino-like revenge movie starring Kim Pine and Knives Chau, who I think are very attractive, take for example...

Ellen Wong (who played Knives) is cute. Nothing special, imo, but she has a sweet quality to her from what I've seen.

My best friend thought Alison Pill (the actress who plays Kim Pine) was the best in the movie. I Do Not get it. At all.

To each their own, of course, but that girl is seriously unattractive to me. Total negative response. Just .... No.

In fact, a huge part of me starting this thread was out of the interest I have in how different people can view the same person so differently when it comes to attractiveness. I'd never judge anyone for who they like.

So, what is it about Alison that you find attractive?

I like her face, the shape of her body, and the way she moves, she was also in the movie "Dear Wendy" which made me like her as well. She is kind of a less harsher version Thora Birch.

Interestingly, I love Thora Birch.

I had not seen a similarity between the two of them but I can see it some now that you mention it. Both are buxom with a sort of broad face that is rather unique.

I am not sure why I like Thora and not Alison then. Hmmm...Maybe someone else could help me compare them.

Ellen Wong (who played Knives) is cute. Nothing special, imo, but she has a sweet quality to her from what I've seen.

I think she's incredibly adorable, but I'm kinda biased as you know. 

I can't say Allison Pill doesn't do anything for me, because she does have a "cute" factor, but she doesn't seem to wow me.  Same with Thora Birch (although I used to think Thora had incredibly beautiful eyes).

But thats just me.

Thora does have much prettier eyes than Alison, imo. In fact, that carries a lot of the look of her face over Alison. Thora also has a (slightly) more narrow face, which I prefer.

I do think Ellen is very cute. But I'm not sure I could show you many Asian girls you don't think are cute, Alisha.   

I would like her face more if she had slightly larger eyes, a more narrow nose, and fuller lips. But that would make her look a little more Korean, which she isn't. So that's just being picky I guess.
