Attractive Celebrities

For no reason other than the superficial fun of it, who are ten celebrities you find physically attractive (or attractive for some other quality) and what is it you find attractive about them?

I'm always interested to compare things like that among people. There are often similarities among people yet just as often there are characteristics one likes that are less common.

Here would be my Chosen Ten list:

#10: Ellen Page



Brunette. Cute face. Petite. Less than 5' 1" tall. Cute feet. Shoe size 6. Smart. Played Kitty Pryde.

#9: Alexis Bledel



Brunette. Cute face. Petite. 5' 5" tall. Cute feet. Shoe size 7. Maybe the most beautiful eyes in the world. Other female celebrities get their eyes Photoshopped to look that good.

#8: Christina Ricci



Brunette. Petite. 5' 0" tall. Cute feet. Shoe size 5. Based on her size alone, she makes my list. Plus she seems to have no problem getting naked. That's always a plus.

#7: Natalie Portman



Brunette. Petite. Engaging smile. 5' 3" tall. Very smart. Great actress. She would be someone who would stimulate me more intellectually than physically, which I would prefer in the long run.

#6: Summer Glau



Brunette. Dancer's body. 5' 5" tall. I could take her to all the sci-fi conventions.  ;-)

#5: Odette Yustman



Brunette. Slender. Smoldering. I haven't seen much of her except for a couple of films. But she's as sexy as women get.

#4: Jessica Biel



Brunette. Athletic. Easy-going. This is the odd-woman-out on my list. She doesn't exactly fit the physical mold I go for (though there's nothing wrong with her either). But her natural athleticism and laid-back attitude is so incredibly appealing. Most of the women on this list are women I'd just want to stare at (right before we got busy for a night). But Jessica is the kind of woman I would really enjoy dating. She's definite girlfriend material in every way, from what I know of her.

#3: Vanessa Hudgens



Brunette. Cute face. Wicked smile. Petite. 5' 1" tall. Mainly, she's nice to look at. She doesn't seem like she'd be interesting for more than one night; less if she talked. But she also gives me the impression she'd be hella fun for that one night.

#2: Emma Watson



Brunette. Cute face. Her feet are perfect. Petite. 5' 5" tall. Smart. She also falls on my "might want to look at more than know" list but I have to give her credit for the things I like most about her.

#1: Selena Gomez



Brunette. Adorable face. Petite. 5' 4" tall. She makes the top of my list simply because she is so freaking cute, sweet, and normal. She doesn't seem to have the celebrity attitude but instead seems like someone that would be a friend long-term. Perhaps an odd criteria, I dunno, but it's a more attractive quality than only physical appeal.

Hmmm ... my list would be (in no particular order):

1. Odette Yustman - because I think of her as just as beautiful as Megan Fox without all the bitchiness.
2. Merideth Molinari (The host of The Tester... thanks Navarre) - I've had a crush on her since the first episode aired.  She got this cute pixie look to her and seems sweet as pie.
3. Amanda Bynes - She has always been "the one I get a pass for" when I was married.  Something about her just makes you want to hold her hand. 
4. Amanda Seyfried - while not completely a hottie, her personality upgrades her to that status.  She seems so sweet and kind and has a really pretty face.
5. The cast of Sucker Punch - watch the trailer.  That's why.
6. Charisma Carpenter - I never really liked Cordelia until she was on Angel.  Then last year I saw her in The Expendables and thought that her new character removed all the bitch and left nothing but the beauty behind.
7. Michelle Trachenburg - I actually first fell in love with her from the movie Euro Trip.  (This is not an admission of seeing the film.)  There's just some cute quality to her that strikes me.  That and I like smaller women.
8. Julie Benz - I first developed a crush on her watching Roswell when she was Agent Tulpulski(sp), then when I saw her on Buffy and her new show, I realized "what's not to love?"
9. Stoya (-.-) -  My favorite pornstar
10. ... uh ... Alex from LOST - I've had a crush on her ever since the episode of Malcolm in the Middle where they discussed the fact that she had grown breats.  Since they pointed them out to me, I haven't been able to stop staring.

Odette would probably be at the top of my list too based on nothing but raw sex appeal. She's so dark and smoldering. Incredible.

Merideth Molinari is the name of the woman at #2, I believe. I have never seen her.

Your #5 is cheating because you included so many. lol But Vanessa Hudgens would be in that group, as well as the delicious Jamie Chung (who almost made my list).

I see you have a lot of the Buffy/Angel gang in there. It seems many people's lists include those actresses from shows they watch regularly. I would suspect it is not only because they readily come to mind but because we have a certain investment in their characters and feel we know the character (if not the actress).

You did not mention what it is that you like about these women. I am wondering if there is a common theme.

Redheads used to be my preferred hair color. I still like attractive redheads. I've never been into blondes much.

But, yeah...definite and obvious preferences for me. I can find something attractive about almost any woman but, when it comes to my most preferred, I guess I'm not very diverse at all.

Michelle Trachtenberg has an amazing little body on her. Her face looks kind of dopey (no offense to her although I guess that is) but she does seem really nice.

You have a lot more variety in your body types than I do. Charisma Carpenter, Michelle T., and Odette Yustman are built nothing alike. You also have blondes, brunettes, and redheads on your list where I (as Greyman pointed out) am strictly a brunette kinda guy.

Sorry Navarre I like only 10, 7, 6, the rest are not really on my list. Yeah I like Emma Watson, but I can live without.

Rosario Dawson, who I physically ran into at a Heroes Con while she was there promoting her comic Occult Crime Taskforce, she was so cool.


Alessandra Torresani, from CAPRICA(the only good thing about that show that's now canceled)


To end my list is Alona Tal, who some may know from Supernatural and Veronica Mars.

Alessandra has great legs. From everything I have seen of her personality she is a wicked, kinky girl. I might not live through the night with her but, wow, what a way to go. 

Rosario does zero for me. There are certain facial qualities I like but she has none of them. Same with her body. I feel the same way about Eva Mendes but a lot of men like her too. It's just a matter of preference.

So why these three specifically? Do you like Rosario because you met her and she was cool (ie, personality) or was she always on your list?

I'm interested in what people find attractive. For me I know I look at her head and toes but only barely notice anything in between. As I know that is not the case for most men, I am curious on what qualities (physical or otherwise) draw attention.

I also wonder about preferences from female members such as Chrysalis and Alisha.

Maybe that's why most of my women are that appealing. They are cute, not intimidating.

Of course, I wouldn't consider Ellen Page at all intimidating (unless you've watched Hard Candy) so I'm not sure about her.

I don't have a list but one woman that really just struck me was Olivia Wilde who played 13 in House. Something about her just blew me away.

Olivia Wilde has made a huge leap in popularity lately. Not so long ago of course, Megan Fox was everywhere. But now her fame seems to have burnt out and Olivia seems near the top of many lists.

She really doesn't do much at all for me but I could see why anyone would like her. I think the amount of exposure a celebrity gets has a lot to do with their attractiveness simply because we tend to think of them.

Once upon a time it would have been Farrah Fawcett or Pam Anderson. Not long ago, Megan Fox. Now, Olivia Wilde.
