Yeah, I could easily take the perspective that my life is running about 10-15 years behind where it should be:

First friend at 20, not 5.
First date at 25, not 15.
First sexual experience at 25, not 18.
Father at 35, not 25.
etc.

Sure, psychologically it could explain why I like younger women, as I am still trying to work through certain life-stages and all of that. I get that.

But that perspective would proceed on the premise that there is a "normal" i'm not meeting. Instead, I am the person I am, learning and growing at the rate I do. Unlike earlier in my life, I no longer feel any pressure on myself to be anything other than the best Me I can be today.

I can understand, now with pressure off of you, the limitations you may have had are gone, and that you right now at probably your purist state.

If we follow your logic, then, I must be pretty screwed up.  Because my firsts are usually in the other extreme (younger), but I'm not chasing after older women.    Well, Claudia Black doesn't count cause she's an actress and I'm not so much chasing after as simply drooling over every time I see her.   Cheesy

But then again, that also goes along if you believe there is some achievable "normal".

Exactly, Larry. I have never felt better about myself.

I still have personal ambitions and work hard toward those. I am always vigilant about the things that are not good for me and the world around me and try to change myself even if I can't change the world. I am not arrogant about who I am but I like who I am very much.

Alisha, I don't think there is a "normal". There are norms, statistically, but what does that have to do with anything? Just be You.

My first license plate was a vanity plate that read "JUSTBU" (back when I could only get 6 letters on a plate). ... I had girls who asked me "What does 'Just Boo' mean?" ... Maybe that's part of why I don't date those particular women anymore. lol

So do we get a picture of you, Alisha? So far, you're the only other person posting here.

I'm looking through everything trying to find one.  I coulda sworn I had one around.  Might have to put it up later, cause it's not looking like I have one on my computer at the moment.

Get someone to make a sketch. Worked for Gaumer.  Cheesy

I don't have anything more recent than summer of 2007, which is when the picture linked here was taken. I look the same though...or maybe cuter every day.

Photobucket seems to be going up and down some lately. It's throwing my avatar, picture links here and elsewhere, and the character portraits and maps from my PbP D&D game. Grrr.

Gaumer's picture has broken the internet!   Tongue

Darn it. I'm one of the few people in the world without a facebook account so I can't see the picture. But thanks for posting; I'm sure it'll be fine for everyone else.

You should take a picture at each of your jobs and make a collage someday.

I think there are more of us not on Facebook than people think.  I had one for a month, but when it was mostly shirtless guys that did nothing but spew ancient pickup lines at me, I deleted it.

Yeah Alisha, I hate when the bots, or spam-people try to seduce you.

"Did it hurt? ... When you fell from Heaven?"

"Do you believe in love at first sight? ... Or do I need to walk by you again?"

"Are your pants made of mirrors? ... Because I can see myself in them."

Did you ever find a pic for the thread?
