Author Topic: Members Picture Link Thread  (Read 3678 times)

I thought maybe it would be fun to have a thread where we could post a link to a picture of ourselves.

Of course, this is only if you're comfortable doing so.

I don't see how this violates Rule #11 about personal information, as my picture is less personal than my thoughts, which I post constantly. But if this thread suddenly becomes locked or deleted entirely, well, it sure isn't out of an attempt to cause trouble.

That being said, I think it goes without saying that it's probably best if the picture link doesn't contain anything that violates any other rules of the forum. That would include obscenity and such. It's probably best if the picture doesn't contain anyone but you, just so there are no problems over that either. Basically what I'm asking is for the use of common sense and discretion so this thread doesn't get the smackdown from on-high.

So, here is my link:

I had been at the pool all day so I'm sunburned. But it's still easy to see what a roguishly handsome guy I am.  Cool

I don't think this in violation of Rule #11, if it was address' and SS#'s that'd be a whole other story.

I agree. I guess that really blows the hell out of my next idea: Members Credit Card Number Thread, huh?

I look like I'm trying to seduce some woman to sit with me on the couch. Of course, my ex-sister-in-law took the pictures, so...

Larry's keepin' it real.

Gaumer looks less 3-dimensional than I thought he would yet somehow seems infinite.

1)That's a shame, I really wanted someone to steal my identity.
2)You really do, it looks like a video still from one of those Dating Videos "Ladies, meet the man of your dreams"
3)You know, Keepin' it real can go wrong real quick.
4)Gaumer reminds me of something that was cut out of 2001: A Space Odyessy, or one of the millions of jump cuts in Natural Born Killers.

I have no game. I admit it.

Apparently, this is how I mac on hot girls when they are looking at me. ... It explains my "single" status.

Yes, heed the words of Dave Chapelle on "Keepin' It Real".  Cool

So, out of all the members on here I know 2 irl and had already seen pics of my other 2 D&D players and the Admins, of course. Otherwise I think Blackthunder01, Victoria, and now Larry King are the only people I have ever seen.

Don't forget Gaumer, you've seen Gaumer. Or what our pitiful human minds percieve as the being known as Gaumer.

Being single isn't so bad, the pool of singles I have consist of the following: Rail-thin Wal*Mart cashier girls who play Second Life; 19 year old Single Mothers who work at Bojangles; 32 year old divorced mothers of two with two horrible C-Section scars and a Heroine addiction; Manish looking daughter of my boss who has a crush on me; I am waiting until the new year when I will look again for someone. But you are in WV right? It isn't like you have to date your cousin.

It's true, half my friends list on Second Life are rail-thin Walmart employees.   Cheesy

Gaumer is one of the two D&D players I mentioned. I was referring to Gaumer and WebMetz, who play in my Play-By-Post D&D game here on the forum.

I met both through this forum. They are great players and I hope to meet them irl someday to build real friendships. ... It also gives me more people from whom I can borrow money.

Yep, I live in WV. I don't have any cousins so that really limits my dating possibilities.

My dating difficulty lies mostly in that I like women in their 20's but I am 42. I keep getting older but there are always 24 year olds out there. How's that work??

Haha! I knew they had to have something in common. You seem to a little bit more well balanced Alisha, you have the forums as well, and you seem to have a great sense of humor. Especially to put up with Navaree. Smiley

Well if I ever find myself in WV I will...RUN!!! No. I will hit you up and say hello. But be forwarned, I don't lend money on principal, and I'm nearly always broke, so that solves any problems right there. I am glad I don't have problems with age, I have dated older women, I don't look at age, or any other thing, I account all factors, and determine if I like her. But to each is own.

WV is beautiful to drive through. Great State at 65+MPH.

An NBK jump cut works for me. Bloody Rodney Dangerfield FTW!!

I have a "normal" pic somewhere on the internets.

I didn't mean to say I would only date a woman in her twenties. I just meant that's part of my physical preference.

More than the physical though, I find women in that age range less jaded about life. Women my age seem to think life is something that has to be endured. I disagree.

Of course, that is a hugely broad and unfair statement and, like you, I take time to get to know each person for who they are. Spiritual connection is what matters, not solely age or looks.

Maybe I'd do better if I practiced taking a better picture? heh

I love NBK, best adaptation of a Tarantino script ever. "I LOVE MALLORY!"

Normal huh? *looks at pic* WOAH! Okay then. I have just found the fifth KISS member.

I need to do the same, when people tell me to smile in pics, it makes me look evil.
As for the ladies in their 20's I understand, that is your experiance, and I can see why you seek them out. I wish you good luck my friend.
