Hello!

I stumbled on the duo of podcasts recently and they have revitalized my passion for both D&D and Comics. I used to be crazy for the Xmen and Avengers storylines and would like to get back into those arcs.  I have reached the age (40) where I have disposable income and really just enjoy the stories.

Basicly I am looking for advice as to where to start again, which of the new Xmen and Avengers titles are worth picking up and which I should leave.

My favorite books were the brood series, I have fond memories of a book where on the last panel, its a full page and it shows Colossus exiting the Morloch tunnels carrying most of the team after a huge epic fight. I would love to know which book this is as that panel was what got me into comics and I would really love to get that book for sentimental value if nothing else.

So I know that was kind of a shotgun blast of randomness but in short I love the podcasts, thank you so much for taking your time to make them.

Speaking of, I wanted to sponsor a show and made the donation but didnt see where I could send a request for my donation. My request is that fake Rigo have a segment on the show where he discusses where someone in my shoes might get back into comics.

Thanks for all you do.

JC Stafford

Welcome, Jason!   Cool

Comics have a lot of Event tie-ins so I think maybe it's good to just jump in somewhere. The Uncanny X-Men title maintains consistent quality and features the characters you know and love.
