After a recent top 10 by Rodrigo about alternate characters, it sparked some intrest in me to read some Spiderman 2099. But I have some reservations, I remember the X-Men 2099 comic and it almost made my eyes bleed. I have never read a single Spidey 2099 comic, can anyone vouch for it's readability or lack there of?

I only read a couple issues before I gave up ALL comics, but I remember it actually being a pretty interesting read. Didn't Quesada do the artwork on it?

He may have down the road. But since I started the post I actually found the first 10 issues in trade format, in a reduced bin at my LCS. It was pretty good, but it's Peter David writting so that doesn't hurt.
