Faerun, as you are listening to Bedlor relay Major Storme's warning to all of you, you also gain a dawning though perhaps insignificant realization. Major Storme's war steed bears a name that is in a language with which you are unfamiliar.

I have one tear fall down my cheek, as I am holding back the rest. "I knew my feeling was true. My parents are in danger, and may be dead by now. I must go home, even if it means being in danger. I can not know that my parents are under such harm and not go to assist them."


(Navarre, do I remember seeing any strange looking lanterns in my parents shed or cellar?)

"Aye. That temple ain't goin' nowhere. We should be gettin' those mounts an' 'eadin' as fast as we can to see on the town."

"I have never been to Forest Falls. How far of a ride from here is it?"

Liv, you think about your small home fifty miles away but do not recall ever seeing any strange looking lanterns.

"The Temple may not be going anywhere, but the person we've promised to show it to is..."

"Do you think we should split up? I don't want to hold up Liv from getting back home as fast as possible just to keep my dumb promise."

[Navarre]

Moira says, "It is a hard choice for me as well. I do miss home so, even though I've spent half my life away from it. But I feel I will do more to serve Illumian with you than sitting in some enclave in Hallow Hold."

"The opening to the cavern is only just over the rise though. What was your exact promise, T'Ning?"

"I believe I promised His Grace to let him know where the site of a totem's destruction was - in exchange for him sharing with us all information he learns from the location and for the resurrection of Kylee. So I spose you're right - I could keep my promise just by telling him."

"Odren, do you know any reason why maybe lots of people from Vaadj would be coming towards here?"

[Gaumer]

"Our promise to be tellin' the Pontiff? Why, I be sayin' 'e be makin' us 'eroes o' the such 'n' such an' by that right be givin' us the ways to be takin' up our priorities. What would 'e be doin' anyways? Just be tellin' us to be takin' care o' the thing.

"I think you misunderstood me, Bedlam. I was specificly saying that I didn't want to slow down Liv getting to her family, because I know that's the most important thing."

[Gaumer]

"Good. Then we should be off to the stables. 'Aps ye can be gettin' 'im the message while we get mounts."

[Navarre]

Odren replies, in Vaadjorian, to T'Ning.

"I had mentioned that I have been gone from Vaadj for a while. There has been a great deal of unrest there over the past year or so."

"The Clans are divided. While many try to maintain the old ways of peaceful coexistence that the Primordial taught us, just as many say this attempt has only turned us into fearful rodents who hide in the mud when we have as much right to live on Gallia as any man."

"The Clans are largely formed by family line and by the Einshar they still worship. Depending on these things, some of the Clans have spoken of reclaiming this world. They say we have wallowed in the swamps and our own self-pity long enough."

"I have heard there is someone fueling this fire of rebellion. But I do not know who it is."

"Bedlor, maybe you and I could go to the stables to see if we can even get some traveling horses. I'll have to go to the bank and pull my money Carrigan gave me out. That way they can speak with the Pontiff?"

"Aye. An' sure'n maybe we can be sendin' word to the bank to be givin' money if'n I not be 'avin' 'nough in me purse. "
