Moira lowers her voice a little further; perhaps to conceal her talking or perhaps to control any weakness in her voice.

"If there is something here more important than an opportunity to kill His Grace, Master Landru, and most of Illumian's priests in the city, it must be something more powerful than I care to imagine."

"I am so mortified at what Thomas did. I had classes with him. ... I never suspected he would be capable, or desire, anything like that."

Moira runs both hands through her long red hair, pulling it back from her face. You notice for the first time that something about her has the vaguest of resemblances to Abby, Rachel, and Trevalcor.

"Hyde is attacking us brilliantly, isn't he? It isn't just the darkness or the explosion or those monks. ... He's attacking our faith. Making us doubt everything around us."
